Darick Hall
Darick Hall (born July 25, 1995) is an American professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter for the Philadelphia Phillies of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2022. Early life and amateur career Hall grew up in Hereford, Arizona, and attended Buena High School. Hall began his college baseball career at Cochise College as both a pitcher and a first baseman. He transferred to Dallas Baptist University after his sophomore year. In his only season with the Patriots, Hall was named the Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year after he batted .302 and led the team with 20 home runs and 72 RBIs while also posting a 9–3 record as a pitcher. Dallas Baptist Patriots Baseball
The Dallas Baptist Patriots baseball team represents Dallas Baptist University, which is located in Dallas, Texas. The Patriots are an NCAA Division I college baseball program that competes in Conference USA. They began competing in Division I in 2004 and joined the Missouri Valley Conference in 2014 after only one season with the Western Athletic Conference. They are the only Dallas Baptist program in Division I and Conference USA. All other Dallas Baptist programs compete in Division II's Lone Star Conference. The Clearwater Threshers are a Minor League Baseball team of the Florida State League and the Single-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The Jersey Shore BlueClaws (formerly Lakewood BlueClaws) are a Minor League Baseball team of the South Atlantic League and the High-A affiliate of the Philadelphia Phillies. The 2016 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft began on June 9, 2016, to assign amateur baseball players to MLB teams.
