Dante Garro (†, Mendoza, Argentina, Mendoza 13 November 2008) was an Argentina, Argentine association football, football player and manager. Club career Garro was a midfielder who began his career with Independiente Rivadavia in the Primera División Argentina. He made his debut against Estudiantes de La Plata in 1967, and he played 11 seasons in Argentine football. Personal Garro died 13 November 2008. Club Estudiantes de La Plata ( lit. "Students from La Plata"), simply referred to as Estudiantes de La Plata , is an Argentine professional sports club based in La Plata. The club's football team currently competes in the Primera División, where it has spent most of its history. The club is a successful team in Argentina. In 1967, Estudiantes was the first team outside the traditional " big five" to win a professional league title. It has won four additional league titles and has had greater international success, having won six international titles.
