Dante Alinsunurin
Dante Alinsunurin is a Filipino volleyball coach. Career NU Bulldogs Alinsunurin has coached in the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP), mentoring the National University (NU) Bulldogs men's volleyball team which won back-to-back titles over FEU in 2019 and Ateneo in 2018. The Bulldogs, under his watch, also took part at the 2018 ASEAN University Games in Myanmar and clinched a gold medal for the Philippines. Club Alinsunurin has participated at the Spikers' Turf as coach. He guided the Megabuilders Volley Bolts in 2017. He also coached Go for Gold Air Force team which finished as runners-up at the 2021 PNVF Champions League. He would join the women's club Choco Mucho Flying Titans of the Premier Volleyball League with his first tournament set to be the 2023 All-Filipino Conference. Choco Mucho Flying Titans
The Choco Mucho Flying Titans is a professional women's volleyball team playing in the Premier Volleyball League. The team is owned by the Republic Biscuit Corporation. History The team was created by the Republic Biscuit Corporation for the 2019 Premier Volleyball League season acquiring the seniors of the 2019 Ateneo Lady Eagles volleyball team together with their coach, Oliver Almadro who won UAAP Season 81 volleyball tournaments. Madayag, De Leon, Tolentino and Gequiliana were joined by the players of the disbanding United Volleyball Club from the Philippine Super Liga. The team was triumphant for their debut as they swept BaliPure Purest Water Defenders in their first game for the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference last August 14, 2019. Spikers' Turf
The Spikers' Turf is a men's semi-professional volleyball league in the Philippines associated with the Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. (Sports Vision). History The league had its beginnings in 2014, when the Shakey's V-League introduced a men's division during its Shakey's V-League 11th Season Reinforced Open Conference, 21st conference. The following year, Sports Vision decided to spin-off the men's division as a separate league, giving birth to the Spikers' Turf. In late-2016, Sports Vision announced that the league be merged back in the 2017 season with the Shakey's V-League (which was renamed as the Premier Volleyball League; PVL). The men's division in the PVL ended with the 2018 Premier Volleyball League Collegiate Conference, 2018 PVL Collegiate Conference as its final tournament. Volleyball is a team sport in which two teams of six players are separated by a net. Each team tries to score points by grounding a ball on the other team's court under organized rules. The Philippine National Volleyball Federation sent representative teams in the 2021 Asian Men's and Women's Club Volleyball Championships under the name of Rebisco and Choco Mucho, brands of its sponsor Republic Biscuit Corporation. The teams don't belong to a domestic league with its players derived from the pool of the Philippine men's and women's national teams. 2021 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship
The 2021 Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship was the eleventh edition of the Asian Men's Club Volleyball Championship, an annual international volleyball club tournament organized by the Asian Volleyball Confederation (AVC) with Thailand Volleyball Association (TVA). The tournament was held in Nakhon Ratchasima, Thailand, from 8 to 15 October 2021. The champions qualified for the 2021 FIVB Volleyball Men's Club World Championship. 2023 Premier Volleyball League All-Filipino Conference
The 2023 Premier Volleyball League First All-Filipino Conference was the fourteenth conference of the Premier Volleyball League and its fifth conference as a professional league. The tournament began on February 4, 2023, at the Smart Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. Formerly known as the Open Conference, the conference was rebranded as the "All-Filipino Conference" to better reflect the fact that the tournament's participation is restricted to Filipino players, including Filipino-Foreigners. The Premier Volleyball League (PVL) is a women's professional volleyball league in the Philippines organized by Sports Vision Management Group, Inc. The league began in 2004 as the Shakey's V-League, a women's collegiate league. Since 2011, the league became open to participation of corporate clubs and other non-collegiate teams.
