Danny Wilson (footballer Born 1991)
Daniel John Wilson (born 27 December 1991) is a Scottish footballer who plays as a centre-back for Major League Soccer club Colorado Rapids. Wilson began his career with Rangers before leaving for English side Liverpool in 2010. After failing to secure a first-team place he joined Blackpool, Bristol City and Heart of Midlothian on loan respectively, joining the latter on a permanent transfer in 2012. Wilson returned to Rangers in 2015 on a free transfer, then moved in January 2018 to American club Colorado Rapids. He has also represented the Scotland national team at U-17, U-19, U-21 and at full international level. The 2010 Scottish League Cup Final was the final match of the 2009–10 Scottish League Cup, the 63rd season of the Scottish League Cup. Route to the Final St Mirren St Mirren faced Third Division East Stirlingshire at Ochilview Park in their first match, a comfortable 6–3 victory was secured with five goals from Billy Mehmet and one from Stephen O'Donnell. Mehmet scored one from close range, one from a chip and a third from a header to complete his hat-trick in 17 minutes. The half time score was 3–4 with Memhet scoring all of St Mirren's goals and Stephen McGuire and an Andy Rodgers brace netting for East Stirlingshire. Walter Smith
Walter Ferguson Smith (24 February 1948 – 26 October 2021) was a Scottish association football player, manager and director, primarily associated with his two spells as manager of Glasgow club Rangers. A defender, Smith's playing career consisted of two spells with Dundee United, split by a short time at Dumbarton. A pelvic injury caused his retirement from playing and Smith moved into coaching at Dundee United, working for manager Jim McLean. Smith also took charge of the Scotland under-18 and under-21 teams, and assisted Scotland manager Alex Ferguson at the 1986 FIFA World Cup in Mexico, after it had been announced that he would be moving to Rangers as assistant to Graeme Souness. Saša Papac (born 7 February 1980) is a Bosnian former professional footballer, who played as a left-back. Having started his career in his native country of Bosnia and Herzegovina for Široki Brijeg, he went to play in Austria for Kärnten and Austria Wien, and in Scotland for Rangers. He spent the early part of his career as a central defender but during his six-year stint at Rangers developed into a left-back. He was capped 39 times for the Bosnia and Herzegovina national team. Madjid Bougherra ( ar, مجيد بوقرة, lit=, links=, translit=; born 7 October 1982) is an Algerian football manager and former player who played as a centre-back. He is the manager of the Algeria A' national team. David Gillespie Weir (born 10 May 1970) is a Scottish football coach and former professional player who is the technical director of Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion. Born in Falkirk, Weir played as a defender, and began his professional career with his home-town club, Falkirk, after having attended the University of Evansville in the United States. After four seasons with the Bairns, Weir then moved on to Heart of Midlothian where he won the 1998 Scottish Cup. The Scottish League Cup (also known as the Viaplay Cup for sponsorship reasons) is a football competition open to all Scottish Professional Football League (SPFL) clubs.
