Danny Sorenson
Daniel Sorenson is a fictional detective on the popular TV series, '' NYPD Blue'', appearing from season six (1998) through season eight (2001). The character was played by actor Rick Schroder. Biography Sorenson, a US Army Desert Storm veteran approximately 27 years old, was introduced in episode six of the sixth season as the 15th squad's replacement for the deceased Bobby Simone. Robert "Bobby" Simone is a fictional character in the television series ''NYPD Blue''. Played by Jimmy Smits he was introduced in the fifth episode of the second season remaining until the fifth episode of the sixth. Simone was introduced to the squad after Andy Sipowicz's former partner, John Kelly, was forced to leave the NYPD in the face of an IAB witch hunt. His previous job had been as a driver for the police commissioner, a role that initially riled Sipowicz. However, Simone explained that he had asked for the job so he could spend more time with his wife as she was dying from cancer. Andrew Sipowicz Sr. is a fictional character on the popular ABC television series '' NYPD Blue''. Andy began as the secondary focus of a more ensemble-like show, but by the middle of Season 6 he is the clear protagonist of the show and receives the main storyline in every episode.
