Danny Rowe (footballer, Born 1992)
Daniel Martin Rowe (born 9 March 1992) is an English former footballer who played as a winger. He is the younger brother of Tommy Rowe. He began his career at Stockport County in 2009, and made 56 appearances in four seasons at the club either side of a brief loan spell at Northwich Victoria. He spent the 2012–13 season with Barrow, before joining Macclesfield Town in 2013. He left Macclesfield, before rejoining them in January 2015 and then moving on to Ipswich Town in January 2017. In January 2018 he joined Lincoln City on loan till the rest of the season, a move that he repeated in January 2019. Rowe was released by Ipswich in 2020 and went on to sign for Burton Albion in February 2021. Ipswich Town
Ipswich Town Football Club is a professional association football club based in Ipswich, Suffolk, England. They play in League One, the third tier of the English football league system. The Manchester FA Senior Cup (originally known as the Manchester and District Challenge Cup, later the Manchester Cup) is an annual football tournament held between the clubs of the Manchester Football Association which was first played in 1885; the first winners were Hurst who beat Newton Heath LYR in the final. Ray Mathias
Raymond Mathias (born 13 December 1946) is an English football coach and former player. He has spent most of his career in the lower leagues of English football. Mathias played for Tranmere Rovers between 1964 and 1985, and remains their record appearance holder having played 637 games for the club. After his retirement he spent three years as manager of Wigan Athletic, briefly returning to the role for the 1998–99 season; between these two spells he returned to Tranmere as a coach, and later managed the side before moving on to Chester City in a caretaker role. He was appointed interim manager of Stockport County on 9 March 2011 until the end of the season, when County were relegated from the Football League for the first time in 106 years. Peter Ward (born 15 October 1964) is an English professional football manager who played over 350 Football League games as a midfielder. He was a player, manager, assistant manager and coach at Stockport County. Playing career Ward played for Chester le Street, Newcastle United, Huddersfield Town, Rochdale, Stockport County, Wrexham and Morecambe. He started his career with the local Chester le Street town side and was spotted whilst playing in the Northern League by Jack Charlton at Newcastle United. Paul Simpson (footballer)
Paul David Simpson (born 26 July 1966) is an English former professional footballer who is currently manager of Carlisle United. He has been a coach and manager at several English clubs and was manager of the England team that won the FIFA Under-20s World Cup in South Korea in 2017. Playing career Manchester City Simpson began his playing career as a schoolboy at Manchester City in the early 1980s. He made his senior debut aged 16, on 2 October 1982 in a 3–2 win against Coventry City. Gary Ablett (English Footballer)
Gareth Ian Ablett (19 November 1965 – 1 January 2012) was an English professional footballer and manager. He played as a defender from 1985 until 2001. Ablett spent nine years with Liverpool, winning several honours, before moving to their city rivals Everton in 1992. He went on to win the FA Cup with Everton, having previously won an FA Cup in 1989 with Liverpool against Everton. He also played for Derby County, Hull City, Sheffield United, Birmingham City, Wycombe Wanderers, Blackpool and ended his playing career in the United States with the Long Island Rough Riders. He moved into coaching and managed Liverpool F.C. Reserves, and then spent a year as manager of Stockport County. Edgeley Park
Edgeley Park is a football stadium in Edgeley, Stockport, England. Built for rugby league club Stockport RFC in 1891, by 1903, the rugby club was defunct and Stockport County Football Club moved in. Edgeley Park is an all-seater stadium holding 10,900 spectators. Stockport County shared it with Sale Sharks rugby union club between 2003 and 2012. In 2015, Stockport Council purchased the stadium for around £2 million, leasing it back to the football club, in order to prevent it from being demolished and redeveloped. History The land Edgeley Park is built on was originally donated to Stockport by the Sykes Family (Owners of Sykes Bleaching Company) in the late 1800s, for sporting use.
