Danny Robas
Danny Robas ( he, דני רובס; born December 24, 1957) is an Israeli pop-rock singer and songwriter. Daniel (Danny) Robas was born in 1957 in Kibbutz Shoval, and grew up in Rehovot. He completed his military service in the artillery corps at the rank of a lieutenant. Robas began his musical career as a guitarist, working with singers such as Arik Sinai, Matti Caspi, and Shlomo Artzi. Initially, he wrote songs for other artists – Arik Sinai, Ilanit, Nurit Galron, the musical band Sexta, Vardina Cohen, Harela Ber, Ofira Yosefi, Esti Katz, Pnina Rosenblum and others. ''Misgarot'' (Frames), Robas' debut album in 1983, was arranged and produced by Matti Caspi. All the songs on the album were written and composed by Robas. The Album sold poorly at first, but reached Gold Record after 25 years, following the success of Robas' next Albums. Rehovot
Rehovot ( he, רְחוֹבוֹת ''Rəḥōvōt'', ar, رحوڤوت ''Reḥūfūt'') is a city in the Central District of Israel, about south of Tel Aviv. In it had a population of . Etymology Israel Belkind, founder of the Bilu movement, proposed the name "Rehovot" (lit. Zohar Argov
Zohar Argov ( he, זוהר ארגוב, born , Zohar Orkabi, July 16, 1955 – November 6, 1987) was an Israeli singer and a distinctive voice in the Mizrahi music scene. Argov is widely known in Israel as "The king of Mizrahi music". Biography Zohar Argov was born in Rishon LeZion, Israel, to Ovadia and Yona Orkabi, Jewish parents who immigrated from Yemen. He was the eldest of ten children. He displayed a talent for singing in childhood, and his classmates nicknamed him "nightingale". All his siblings also displayed an interest in music. A duet is a musical composition for two performers in which the performers have equal importance to the piece, often a composition involving two singers or two pianists. It differs from a harmony, as the performers take turns performing a solo section rather than performing simultaneously. A concert is a live music performance in front of an audience. In popular music, a cover version, cover song, remake, revival, or simply cover, is a new performance or recording by a musician other than the original performer or composer of the song. Originally, it referred to a version of a song released around the same time as the original in order to compete with it. Now, it refers to any subsequent version performed after the original.
