Andrej Danko (born 12 August 1974) is a Slovak politician who has been Speaker (politics), Speaker of the National Council (Slovakia), National Council of the Slovak Republic from 2016 to 2020 and Chairman of the Slovak National Party since 2012. Biography Born in Revúca, Danko studied at the Faculty of Law at Comenius University in Bratislava. After compulsory military service, he founded several commercial companies and worked as an independent lawyer. During 2006–2010, he was an assistant in the National Council (Slovakia), National Council of Slovakia and a member of several parliamentary commissions. Betty Danko
Bertha "Betty" Danko (September 19, 1903February 3, 1979) was an American stuntwoman and stunt double. She doubled for many leading actresses of the 1930s and 1940s, but is best known for having doubled for Margaret Hamilton as the Wicked Witch of the West in the 1939 film '' The Wizard of Oz''. During the filming of the skywriting scene, a pipe attached to the Witch's broomstick exploded, landing Danko in the hospital with a serious leg wound. Her career was cut short by a non-stunt accident in the late 1950s when she was struck by a car while waiting for a bus. She resided in a Hollywood bungalow for 50 years with her widowed mother. Gary Danko is an American chef. He combines French, Mediterranean, and American styles into his cooking. He is best known for his eponymous restaurant in San Francisco, California. Early life Danko was born in Massena, New York, his father was a Hungarian immigrant. His grandmother was Jewish and he grew up with Hungarian cooking with Jewish overtones. Culinary development Danko started cooking at the local Village Inn restaurant at age 14. By the time he graduated high school, he had been exposed to every position in the restaurant. Harold Danko (born June 13, 1947 in Ohio) is an American jazz pianist. Danko attended Youngstown State University. Among his credits are work in the big bands of Woody Herman and Thad Jones/Mel Lewis, as well as smaller ensembles with Gerry Mulligan, Chet Baker and Lee Konitz. James M. Danko is an American entrepreneur and academic administrator serving as the 21st president of Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
