''Danity Kane'' is the debut album by American girl group Danity Kane. It was first released by Bad Boy and Atlantic Records on August 22, 2006 in the United States. After winning the third installment of the reality talent contest ''Making the Band'' in late 2005, Sean "Diddy" Combs and Bad Boy vice president Harve Pierre consulted a wide range of high-profile hip-hop and R&B musicians to work with the quintet, including Timbaland, Danja, Bryan Michael Cox, Rami, Ryan Leslie, Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins, Scott Storch, and Jim Jonsin, as well as Bad Boy inhouse producers Mario Winans and D-Dot. Danity Kane was an American girl group whose original and most well-known lineup comprised Aubrey O'Day, Aundrea Fimbres, Dawn Richard, Shannon Bex, and Wanita "D. Woods" Woodgett. Scott Spencer Storch (born December 16, 1973) is an American record producer and songwriter. He started off as a keyboardist for the group the Roots. Early life Storch was born on Long Island, New York. He was raised in South Florida and Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His mother, Joyce Yolanda Storch, was a singer signed to Philadelphia's Cameo-Parkway Records under the stage name Joyce Carol, and is of Lithuanian Jewish heritage. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is a trade organization that represents the music recording industry in the United States. It was written by Bryan Michael Cox, Kendrick "Wyldcard" Dean, and Adonis Shropshire for the group's debut album ''Danity Kane'' (2006), while production was helmed by Cox along with co-producer Wyldcard. The ballad was released as the album's second single in fall 2006. The song peaked at number 78 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Release "Ride for You" was shown on a ''Making The Band 3'' episode.
