Daniele Padelli (born 25 October 1985) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Serie A club Udinese. Early life Padelli was born in Brescia, Italy, on September 25, 1985. He started his youth career at Brescia in 1997. He then moved to Sampdoria in 2004. Club career Early career Padelli began his playing career at the Seconda Categoria club Delebio, a team from Valtellina. He moved to Lecco in 2001 and then Como the year after. In 2004, he was transferred to Sampdoria, playing for the Primavera youth team, before being loaned to Pizzighettone in the Serie C1 (33 appearances with 29 goals conceded) and then Crotone (one appearance, 2 goals conceded). Lecco
Lecco (, , ; lmo, label=Lecchese, Lècch ) is a city of 48,131 inhabitants in Lombardy, northern Italy, north of Milan. It lies at the end of the south-eastern branch of Lake Como (the branch is named ''Branch of Lecco'' / ''Ramo di Lecco''). It consisted of 33 teams, divided geographically into two divisions of 16 and 17 teams for group A and B respectively. Until 2008 it was known as Serie C1. Free Transfer (association Football)
In professional association football, a free transfer, also known as a Bosman transfer, involves a professional association football club releasing a player when the player's contract has expired or made available just before the end of the contract. The player can then go on to sign for any club offering a contract to them. How it works The club acquiring the player does not have to pay any compensation for their release due to having nothing left to pay on their contract, hence, the term free transfer. Some individual leagues have restrictions to protect academies. Co-ownership (football)
Co-ownership is a system whereby two football clubs own the contract of a player jointly, although the player is only registered to play for one club. It is not a universal system, but is used in some countries, including Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. It was formerly commonplace in Italy, though the practice has now been abolished there. This type of deal differs from third-party ownership, in that in the latter, the player's contract is owned by a non-footballing entity, such as a management company. Italy Co-ownership deals were common in Italian football, before being banned at the end of the 2014–15 season. Giampiero Ventura
Gian Piero Ventura (; born 14 January 1948) is an Italian football manager. His playing career as a midfielder was spent in the lower leagues, having not made the grade at Sampdoria, where he began his coaching career with the youth team in 1976. He debuted in Serie A with Cagliari in 1998, and also managed Udinese, Messina, Bari, Torino and Chievo in the top flight. Ventura was the manager of the Italy national football team from 2016 to 2017.
