Daniel Sundgren
Daniel Andreas Sundgren (born 22 November 1990) is a Swedish professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Israeli Premier League club Maccabi Haifa and the Sweden national team. Club career On 20 November 2015, he returned to AIK. In October 2017, Sundgren was hospitalized with a blood clot in his lungs, ending his 2017 season early. In June 2019, Sundgren joined Super League Greece side Aris, set to pen a three years' contract for an undisclosed fee. On 20 June 2022, Sundgren signed a two-year contract with Maccabi Haifa in Israel. AIK Fotboll (), more commonly known simply as AIK (), an abbreviation for Allmänna Idrottsklubben (meaning ''the public'' or ''general sports club''), is a Swedish football club competing in Allsvenskan, the top flight of Swedish football. Ettan Fotboll, or simply Ettan ( en, the one), which also is its common name in everyday speech, is the third level in the Swedish football league system and consists of 32 Swedish football teams. Superettan
Superettan (; meaning the super first (division)) is an association football league and the second highest league in the league system of Swedish men's football. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with Allsvenskan and Division 1. Seasons run from April to October, with teams playing 30 matches each, totalling 240 matches in the season. The league was created in 2000. The second tier of Swedish football had previously consisted of a varying number of regionalized leagues operating under the Division 2 (1924–1986) and Division 1 (1987–1999) names. The Superettan 2009 was the ninth season of Sweden's second-tier football league. The season began on 11 April 2009 and ended on 24 October 2009. The top 2 teams qualified directly for promotion to Allsvenskan, the third played a play-off against the fourteenth from Allsvenskan to decide who qualified to play in Allsvenskan 2010. Athletic Football Club Eskilstuna, also known as AFC Eskilstuna or simply AFC, is a Swedish football club located in Eskilstuna. The club has previously been known under the names FC Café Opera and Väsby United before switching ownership and their identity again in 2012 to AFC United. Gary Sundgren
Kari Juhani "Gary" Sundgren (born 25 October 1967) is a Swedish former professional footballer who played as either a right back or a central defender. He played professionally with AIK and Zaragoza, in a 15-year career. A Swedish international for nearly a decade, he won a total of 30 caps and represented his country at UEFA Euro 2000. Club career Sundgren was born in Vammala, Finland, but moved to Sweden with his parents as a toddler, being raised in Västerås. There, he was often called Gary and it caught on, being addressed in the latter manner for the duration of his career. Sundgren started playing professionally with AIK, being an undisputed starter from an early age.
