Daniel Stange
Daniel Adam Stange (born December 22, 1985) is a former Major League Baseball pitcher. He has played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Arizona Diamondbacks and Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim. Career Stange attended Elsinore High School in Wildomar, California, and was drafted by the Atlanta Braves in the 33rd round of the 2003 MLB draft, but didn't sign. Arizona Diamondbacks He also attended the University of California, Riverside, and was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 7th round (207th overall) of the 2006 Major League Baseball draft. He was assigned to Advanced Rookie Missoula, where in 27 appearances, he went 5–2 with a 4.25 ERA and 13 saves, striking out 48 in 36 innings. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. The California League is a Minor League Baseball league that operates in California. Having been classified at various levels throughout its existence, it operated at Class A-Advanced from 1990 until its demotion to Single-A following Major League Baseball's 2021 reorganization of the minor leagues. The Arizona Fall League (AFL) is an off-season sports league owned and operated by Major League Baseball (MLB) which operates during the autumn in Arizona, United States, at six different baseball complexes. Arizona Fall League rosters are filled by many of the top prospects in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) who are assigned by their parent clubs. Structure The six teams of the AFL are organized in two three-team divisions. Each AFL team is affiliated with five teams in Major League Baseball (MLB), and each MLB team provides seven players from their Minor League Baseball affiliates, yielding 35-man rosters. Scottsdale Scorpions
The Scottsdale Scorpions are a baseball team that plays in the East Division of the Arizona Fall League. They play their home games in Scottsdale, Arizona, at Scottsdale Stadium, which is also the spring training facility of the San Francisco Giants. The team was established in 1992 and has retained the Scorpions nickname through several location changes. The Scorpions have won three league championships, most recently in 2015. Carlos Rosa Mayi (born September 21, 1984) is a former professional baseball pitcher. Career Rosa began the season in Double-A with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals, where he led the Texas League in Earned run average, ERA and Walks plus hits per inning pitched, WHIP. He was promoted to Triple-A Omaha Royals, Omaha in May. He made his Major League Baseball debut against the Arizona Diamondbacks on June 14, . He also got his first strikeout on that day. Kristin James Benson (born November 7, 1974) is a former Major League Baseball starting pitcher who played for several teams between 1999 and 2010. A highly touted prospect, Benson was drafted first overall by the Pittsburgh Pirates in 1996. He followed a strong rookie season in 1999 with an even stronger season in 2000, but those would prove to be the two best seasons of his career, as he underwent Tommy John surgery after the 2000 season. Reno Aces
The Reno Aces are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and the Triple-A affiliate of the Arizona Diamondbacks. They are located in Reno, Nevada, and play their home games at Greater Nevada Field, which opened in 2009.
