Daniel Schuhmacher
Daniel Schuhmacher (born 19 April 1987) is a German singer and songwriter. In 2009, he rose to fame after winning the sixth season of ''Deutschland sucht den Superstar'', the German edition of ''Pop Idol''. His debut album ''The Album'' was released later in the same year and topped the German and Austrian Albums Charts, going gold. It spawned the hit single "Anything but Love", his coronation song, which became a number-one hit Austria, Germany, and Switzerland and was also certified gold. Early life Schuhmacher was born and raised in Pfullendorf, Baden-Württemberg. Schuhmacher's hobbies are tennis, music, skating, meeting friends, movies, and films. His nicknames are Kell, Kelly, and Schumi. He has 4 tattoos which are located on the hip, neck and both wrists. Pfullendorf is a small town of about 13,000 inhabitants located north of Lake Constance in Baden-Württemberg, Germany. It was a Free Imperial City of the Holy Roman Empire for nearly 600 years. The town is in the district of Sigmaringen south of the Danube valley and therefore on the continental divide between the watersheds of the Rhine and the Danube. The area is known as the Linzgau. Simply Red are a British soul and pop band formed in Manchester in 1985. The lead vocalist of the band is singer and songwriter Mick Hucknall, who, by the time the band initially disbanded in 2010, was the only original member left. "You Are So Beautiful" is a song written by Billy Preston and Bruce Fisher that was first released in 1974 on Preston's ninth studio album, ''The Kids & Me''. "Take My Breath Away" is a song written by Giorgio Moroder and Tom Whitlock for the 1986 film ''Top Gun'', performed by American new wave band Berlin. It won the Academy Award for Best Original Song, as well as the Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song in 1986. Background Italian musician Giorgio Moroder was asked by Jerry Bruckheimer, the co-producer for ''Top Gun'', to write a song for the film. He first wrote " Danger Zone" which was recorded by Kenny Loggins. Happy with the result, Bruckheimer then requested a slower song for a romantic scene. William Harrison Withers Jr. (July 4, 1938 – March 30, 2020) was an American singer-songwriter and musician. He had several hits over a career spanning 18 years, including "Ain't No Sunshine" (1971), "Grandma's Hands" (1971), " Use Me" (1972), " Lean on Me" (1972), " Lovely Day" (1977) and "Just the Two of Us" (1981).
