Daniel Roche
Daniel Peter Roche ( ; born 14 October 1999) is an English actor, known for playing Ben Brockman in the BBC One sitcom '' Outnumbered''. Life Roche was born on 14 October 1999 to an English mother and an Irish father. He grew up in north London, attending a state CofE primary school whilst also attending the Susi Earnshaw Theatre School in Barnet for extra-curricular drama lessons. At 12, he was granted a scholarship to the independent University College School in Camden, London. In September 2018, he enrolled as an undergraduate at King's College London, where he plays for the Rugby Football Club. Career For his appearances in ''Outnumbered'' as Ben, he was nominated for Best Male Newcomer at the 2009 British Comedy Awards. He also appeared in the BBC One show ''Casualty'', the film ''Off Season'' (2008), and a number of television commercials, including one for Kingsmill. ''Just William'' is a United Kingdom television series first broadcast on BBC One in December 2010. The series is based on the ''Just William'' series of books by Richmal Crompton. This latest adaptation is written by Simon Nye. It is the first adaption of the books since a children's television series in the 1990s. The series stars Daniel Roche as the title character, eponymous character William Brown, with Rebecca Front and Daniel Ryan as William's parents. Caroline Quentin and Warren Clarke appear as the parents of Violet Elizabeth Bott (played by Isabella Blake-Thomas), neighbours of the Brown family. Outnumbered (British TV Series)
''Outnumbered'' is a British sitcom about the Brockman family, starring Hugh Dennis as the father, Claire Skinner as the mother and their three children played by Tyger Drew-Honey, Daniel Roche and Ramona Marquez. There were five series, which aired on BBC One from 2007 to 2014. A final Christmas special aired on 26 December 2016. The following year Hugh Dennis expressed hope that more one-off specials would be made following the success of the 2016 Christmas special, but none have yet been commissioned. Produced by Hat Trick Productions, ''Outnumbered'' was written, directed and produced by Andy Hamilton and Guy Jenkin, although parts of the show are semi-improvised. ''Blue Peter'' is a British children's television entertainment programme created by John Hunter Blair. It is the longest-running children's TV show in the world, having been broadcast since October 1958. ''The Magicians'' is a British talent show, first broadcast throughout January 2011 on BBC One. The show features magicians performing a number of magic tricks with guest celebrities, to decide which pair will face a forfeit trick at the end of the episode. In the first series, this was decided through audience participation; however, for the second series, a phone vote was introduced. The first series was hosted by Lenny Henry, and featured magicians Luis de Matos, Barry and Stuart and Chris Korn. At the end of series 1, Luis de Matos was deemed series champion. The second series, which began airing in January 2012, is hosted by Darren McMullen, and replaces magicians de Matos and Korn with Jason Latimer and Pete Firman. ''Friday Download'' was a British children's entertainment television programme, produced by Saltbeef Productions on CBBC. It premiered on 6 May 2011.
