Daniel Parslow
Daniel James Parslow (born 11 September 1985) is a Welsh former professional footballer who played as a centre-back in the English Football League for York City and Cheltenham Town. Parslow started his career with Cardiff City in their youth system, before signing a professional contract in 2005. He signed for Conference National club York City a year later after being released by Cardiff. He did not establish himself in the team in the 2006–07 season, but played in their play-off semi-final defeat by Morecambe. He became a regular starter during 2007–08 under the management of Colin Walker, and during 2008–09 assumed the captaincy from Mark Greaves. In this season, he was named Clubman of the Year and led the team to the 2009 FA Trophy Final, in which York were beaten 2–0 by Stevenage Borough. Colin Walker (footballer, Born 1958)
Colin Walker (born 1 May 1958) is a former professional footballer and manager who is head of coaching at EFL League Two side Grimsby Town. As a player he was a striker who notably played in the Football League for Barnsley, Doncaster Rovers, Cambridge United, Sheffield Wednesday, Darlington and Torquay United. He also spent time playing in New Zealand with three spells at Gisborne City. He also played non-league football for Retford Town, Matlock Town and Harworth Colliery Institute. Walker was capped 15 times by New Zealand between 1984 and 1988, scoring 10 goals. He had obtained citizenship during his time spent playing in the country. As a manager Walker took charge of Gisborne City in 1988 before moving on to manage non-league side Maltby Miners Welfare. He later had coaching roles at Barnsley and Leeds United whilst also working for Rugby Union side Rotherham Titans. 2012 Conference Premier Play-off Final
The 2012 Conference Premier play-off Final, known as the 2012 Blue Square Bet Premier play-off Final for sponsorship purposes, was a football match between Luton Town and York City on 20 May 2012 at Wembley Stadium in London. It was the tenth Conference Premier play-off Final and the first to be played at Wembley since 2010. York won the match 2–1, coming from behind after conceding to Luton in the second minute to secure promotion to League Two, re-entering the Football League after an eight-year absence. The 2012 FA Trophy Final was the 43rd final of the Football Association's cup competition for levels 5–8 of the English football league system. The match was contested by Newport County and York City. York City were beaten finalists in 2009, but it was Newport County's first final and their debut visit to Wembley in their 100-year history. The 2010 Conference Premier play-off Final, known as the 2010 Blue Square Premier play-off Final for sponsorship purposes, was a football match between Oxford United and York City on 16 May 2010 at Wembley Stadium in London. It was the eighth Conference Premier play-off Final and the fourth to be played at Wembley Stadium. The 2010 Final set a new Conference Premier play-off Final attendance record of 42,669 (158 more than the existing record set by Cambridge United and Exeter City two seasons before) with ticket sales suggesting Oxford brought over 33,000 of these. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Michael Gerard Ingham (born 9 July 1980) is a semi-professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Tadcaster Albion. He has played in the Football League for Carlisle United, Darlington, York City, Wrexham, Doncaster Rovers and Sunderland and at senior international level for the Northern Ireland national team. Ingham started his career with Northern Irish club Cliftonville before moving to England with Sunderland in the Premier League in 1999. He was loaned out by the club on eight occasions before eventually joining former loan club Wrexham on a permanent deal in 2005. After leaving the club in 2007 he joined Hereford United, where he made one appearance, and a year later dropped into non-League football with York City.
