Daniel Pancu
Daniel Gabriel Pancu (; born 17 August 1977) is a Romanian former footballer who played mainly as an attacking midfielder or a forward. Club career Pancu began his playing career at FC Politehnica Iași. He made his debut in the Romanian First Division in 1995. In the winter of 1996 he was transferred to Rapid București for the sum of US$200,000. He was, at that time, the most expensive player who has left from Iași. After two and a half seasons, he moved to A.C. Cesena, in the Italian Serie B, for a transfer fee of US$1,200,000. After a year, Cesena was relegated from the Serie B and Pancu returned to Rapid for a transfer fee of US$800,000, where he stayed for two seasons. During this tenure he gained the nickname "Ronaldo of Giulești". In 2002, he was bought by Beşiktaş, at the request of the manager that discovered him, Mircea Lucescu, for a fee of US$2,250,000. Iași
Iași ( , , ; also known by other alternative names), also referred to mostly historically as Jassy ( , ), is the second largest city in Romania and the seat of Iași County. Óscar Eduardo Córdoba Arce (born 3 February 1970) is a Colombian retired professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. He played more than 70 games for the Colombia national team. He is also the only person to never concede a goal in a Copa América edition, having done so in 2001. Club career Córdoba started playing professionally with Atlético Nacional in 1988, but transferred to Deportivo Cali in 1989 and loaned to Deportes Quindío in 1990. Mike Temwanjera
Mike Temwanjera (born 21 May 1982) is a Zimbabwean former professional footballer who usually played as a centre forward, but also as a second striker. A member of FC Vaslui from January 2007 until summer 2014, he was one of the team's longest serving players, second in scoring during Vaslui's spell in Liga I, with 39 goals. Wesley Lopes da Silva (born 10 November 1980), known as Wesley, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a striker. Apart from his native country, he represented teams in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Romania, Saudi Arabia and Colombia. Wesley spent the most successful part of his career with Romanian club Vaslui between 2009 and 2013, netting 61 times to become the Liga I top foreign goalscorer. Mircea Lucescu (; born 29 July 1945) is a Romanian professional football manager and former player, who is currently head coach of Ukrainian Premier League club Dynamo Kyiv. He is one of the most decorated managers of all time. Lucescu is also one of the most successful players of the Romanian league championship, having won all of his seven titles with Dinamo București. Apart from the latter club, he had spells at Știința București and Corvinul Hunedoara, and made 70 appearances for the Romania national team, which he captained in the 1970 FIFA World Cup. Stadionul Giulești-Valentin Stănescu (1939)
Giulești-Valentin Stănescu Stadium was a football stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It was the home stadium of FC Rapid București for almost 80 years. It was named after Valentin Stănescu, the coach that helped Rapid to win its first title, but was most commonly known as the "Giulești Stadium", after the name of the neighborhood in which it was located. Landmarks near the stadium include Podul Grant, Giulești Theatre and Prunaru market. Gara de Nord is not far away from the stadium and the Grivița Railway Yards are right next to it.
