Daniel Oss
Daniel Oss (born 13 January 1987) is an Italian professional road bicycle racer, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam . Career Oss was born in Trento. In 2004, Oss' first results on the track and road were outstanding: he excelled in the National Student Track Championships in Pordenone, collecting three podiums in the pursuit; in the same year gained third place in the Madison at the European Student Championships in Fiorenzuola d'Arda. After a year in the dark, Oss returned to the limelight in 2006 succeeding to finish in five races including Ponton, Isolates Vicentina, Cremona Pessina and Bibano of Godega. In 2007, he won two smaller competitions while in 2008, besides three other competitions, he also participated in the World Championships in Varese, coming home in eighth place in the Under 23 time-trial. Thor Hushovd
Thor Hushovd (born 18 January 1978) is a Norwegian former professional road bicycle racer. He is known for sprinting and time trialing; Hushovd is a three-time Norwegian national road race champion (2004, 2010, 2013), and was the winner of the 2010 World Road Race Championships. He was the first Norwegian to lead the Tour de France, and first Scandinavian to win the road race in cycling world road championship. He is also the Scandinavian with the most stage wins in Grand Tours. He is widely considered the greatest Norwegian cyclist of all time. He retired in September 2014. Fiorenzuola d'Arda (; egl, label= Piacentino, Fiurinsöla, or ) is a city and ''comune'' in Italy in the province of Piacenza, part of the Emilia-Romagna region. Its name derives from ''Florentia'' ("prosperous" in Latin). The "d'Arda" portion refers to the River Arda which flows from the Apennines into the valley where Fiorenzuola is situated. Madison (cycling)
The Madison is a relay race event in track cycling, named after the first Madison Square Garden in New York, and known as the "American race" in French (''course à l'américaine'') and as ''Americana'' in Spanish and in Italian. The race The Madison is a race where each team aims to complete more laps than any of the other teams. Riders in each team take turns during the race, handing over to another team member, resting, and then returning to the race. Teams are usually of two riders but occasionally of three. Only one rider of the team is racing at any time, and the replacement rider has to be touched before taking over. The touch can also be a push, often on the shorts, or one rider hurling the other into the race by a hand-sling. How long each rider stays in the race is for the members of each team to decide. Pordenone (; Venetian and fur, Pordenon) is the main ''comune'' of Pordenone province of northeast Italy in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region. UCI ProSeries
The UCI ProSeries is the second tier men's elite road cycling tour. It was inaugurated in 2020. The series is placed below the UCI World Tour, but above the various regional UCI Continental Circuits. Development In December 2018, the UCI announced various reforms to the structure and organisation of men's professional road racing. One of the major changes is the introduction of a new division of races called the UCI ProSeries. With the introduction of the ProSeries, the UCI .HC road races will disappear from the calendar. In October 2019, the UCI published the 2020 UCI International Road Calendar, including the ProSeries.
