Daniel Haglund
Daniel Haglund (born 25 March 1980) is a Swedish musician and member of Mando Diao. Biography Daniel Haglund was born in Falun, Sweden, on 25 March 1980. Already in his early childhood his talent for music showed; at the age of eleven he performed in a family show on Swedish TV playing keyboard and piano. For a few years Daniel went to the same school as Björn Dixgård; at the age of fifteen he founded a band called Butler together with Björn. In 1996, Gustaf Norén joined the band. In 1997 the name Butler was changed to Mando Jao. Allegedly Björn had a dream where a man appeared and shouted at him, telling him to name his band Mando Jao. Björn obeyed. In 1999, the name was changed to Mando Diao for the band was sure it would offer a better English pronunciation. Mando Diao is an alternative rock band from Borlänge, Sweden. The band got their breakthrough with the release of the album ''Hurricane Bar''. Their main fan base is in Sweden, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Japan. Band members are Björn Dixgård (vocals, guitar), Carl-Johan Fogelklou (bass), Jens Siverstedt (guitar), Daniel Haglund (keyboard) and Patrik Heinkipieti (drums). Falun
Falun () is a city and the seat of Falun Municipality in Dalarna County, Sweden, with 37,291 inhabitants in 2010. It is also the capital of Dalarna County. Falun forms, together with Borlänge, a metropolitan area with just over 100,000 inhabitants. Falun was originally famous for its copper mine, and is today an important service and industrial city even though the mine is closed (since 1992). Faluån is a river, flowing through the city, separating it into two sides. Falu copper mine is located on one of the sides which during many centuries was one of Sweden's main business. This side of the river was usually called "the mining side", where not many plants grew due to the toxic smoke which contaminated the soil. Björn Hans-Erik Dixgård (born 8 May 1981) is a Swedish musician (vocals, guitar). He is the frontman of the Swedish band Mando Diao. Biography 220px, Dixgård in 2013 Björn Hans-Erik Dixgård was born on 8 May 1981, near Falun, Sweden, as the second child of Hans and Malin Dixgard. Some years later, the family moved to Romme, a town in the south of Borlänge. Björn attended elementary school and secondary school in Romme. Gustaf Erik David Norén (born 1 February 1981 in Borlänge) is a Swedish musician (songwriting, vocals, guitar) and actor. He was previously one of the two frontmen of the Swedish band Mando Diao and is one half of the duo ''Gustaf & Viktor Norén''. Beginnings Gustaf was born to Jan Norén and Kerstin Bengtsson-Norén on February 1, 1981, in Borlänge (Sweden). He has two younger brothers, Viktor and Carl, and a younger sister Josefine. Gustaf describes the rural surroundings of his childhood as carefree and creative. His talent for music showed very soon at school, as well as his liking for playing roles. Carl-Johan Peter Crispin Fogelklou (born 15 August 1980, in Uppsala, Sweden) is a Swedish musician (bass, vocals). He is bass player of the Swedish band Mando Diao. Biography Carl-Johan Peter Crispin Fogelklou, bass player of Swedish rock band Mando Diao was born on 15 August 1980 in Uppsala (Sweden) to Peter and Gunnel Fogelklou and is known to his fans as CJ. He has a sister called Lotta. When CJ was two, his family moved to Sigtuna near Stockholm. He was interested in playing the guitar from early years; his source of inspiration was the rock band Guns N' Roses. Mats Anders Björke (born 10 June 1982 in Falun, Sweden) is a Swedish musician (keyboard) and producer. From 2004 to 2014, he was a member of the Swedish band Mando Diao. Biography Mats Anders Björke was born on June 10, 1982, in Falun (Sweden). In 2002 he moved to Stockholm due to music studies; at the same time he worked and played in bands. In spring 2003 Mats ended his music studies with no intention of continuing at another public institution. Dalsland () is a Swedish traditional province, or ''landskap'', situated in Götaland in southern Sweden.
