Daniel Lorenzo Hackett (born December 19, 1987) is an American-Italian professional basketball player for Virtus Bologna of the Italian Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) and the EuroLeague. Standing at , he can play at both the point guard and shooting guard positions. Early life Hackett was born in Forlimpopoli, (Forlì-Cesena), Italy. He was born as the son of Rudy Hackett, an American professional basketball player, who played in both the ABA and the NBA, and an Italian mother. He grew up in Pesaro, Italy. High school career Hackett left Italy to attend high school at St. John Bosco High School of Bellflower, California, in the United States. College career Hackett studied at the University of Southern California, where he played college basketball. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. VTB United League
VTB United League (russian: Единая Лига ВТБ) is an international professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league that was founded in 2008. It is made up of mostly Russian clubs, along with one each from Belarus and Kazakhstan. Since VTB United League 2013–14, 2013, it is the Russian basketball league system, first tier of Russian professional club basketball. 2008–09 Pacific-10 Conference Men's Basketball Season
The 2008–09 Pacific-10 Conference men's basketball season ended with six teams participating in the 2009 NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Tournament and two teams playing in the College Basketball Invitational (CBI). The All-Pac-12 men's basketball team is an annual Pac-12 Conference honor bestowed on the best players in the conference following every college basketball season. Pac-12 coaches select a 10-player first team and a five-player second team. There were two five-man teams from 1956 though 1979, followed by one 10-man first team from 1980 through 2008. For one year in 2008, there were three five-man teams selected. During the final week of the regular season, Pac-12 coaches nominate up to three players from their team to be placed on the ballot for consideration.
