Danny Foster (footballer)
Daniel Foster (born 23 September 1984) is an English former professional footballer who played as a right back in the Football League, most notably for Dagenham & Redbridge and Wycombe Wanderers. He was capped by England at youth and C level. Club career Early years Foster began his youth career at Brimsdown Rovers and later entered the academy at Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur, progressing to sign his first professional contract in June 2002. He failed to receive a call into a first team squad and was released at the end of the 2003–04 season. Dagenham & Redbridge Foster dropped into non-league football to join Conference Premier club Dagenham & Redbridge in September 2004. He made a breakthrough into the first team squad during the second half of the 2004–05 season and signed a new three-year contract in February 2005. Danny Foster (born 3 May 1979) is an English pop/soul singer and television personality, who appeared in the inaugural series of the British television talent-show ''Popstars'', going on to become a founder member of the pop group Hear'say. Early life and career Born to a black Barbadian father and white mother, Foster attended the Central Foundation Boys' School. Before his appearance in the ''Popstars'' television series, he had worked as a cleaner and trained as a youth worker. Foster first came to public attention in 2001, after his appearance as an aspiring pop singer in the first series of the television talent series ''Popstars'', which aired on ITV1. Daniel Leon Foster (September 26, 1958 – June 17, 2020), popularly known as The Big Dawg, was an American radio personality and media consultant based in Nigeria. Formerly an ''Idol'' judge, he also held a similar position with the ''Got Talent'' franchise. Early life and education Foster was born in San Francisco and raised with his three siblings in Prince George's County, Maryland, near Washington, D.C. by their father Samuel, an Air Force veteran. His mother died when he was ten, and he sporadically lived with his grandmother in Baltimore. As a teenager, Foster played football at Surrattsville High School. Daniel Willett Foster (March 4, 1930 – January 25, 2018) was the John Denis McGarry, Ph.D. Distinguished Chair in Diabetes and Metabolic Research and Professor of Internal Medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School at Dallas. He was Chairman of the Department of Internal Medicine for 16 years. He was a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science and a member of the Institute of Medicine of the National Academies. He was a Master of the American College of Physicians. He was also a former member of the President's Council on Bioethics.
