Daniel Fields
Daniel L. Fields (born January 23, 1991) is an American former professional baseball outfielder. He played one game in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Detroit Tigers in 2015. He is the first player since Steve Kuczek in 1949 to hit a double and the first player since Gary Martz in 1975 to play left field in his only career Major League game. Career Detroit Tigers Fields was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the sixth round of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft out of University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy in Detroit Michigan. Fields started his career with the High-A Lakeland Flying Tigers in 2010. He hit .240/.343/.371 with eight home runs. He spent the 2011 season with Lakeland hitting .220/.308/.326 with eight home runs. Erie SeaWolves
The Erie SeaWolves are an United States, American professional baseball team based in Erie, Pennsylvania. They compete in Minor League Baseball (MiLB) as a member of the Eastern League (1938–present), Eastern League's Southwest Division, serving as the Double-A (baseball), Double-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. The team was founded in and began playing in Erie for the season. The SeaWolves currently play their home games at UPMC Park in downtown Erie, a part of the Louis J. The University of Detroit Jesuit High School and Academy was founded in 1877, and is one of two Jesuit high schools in the city of Detroit, Michigan, the other being Loyola High School. Daniel Anthony Otero (born February 19, 1985) is an American former professional baseball pitcher. He played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, and Cleveland Indians. Amateur career Otero went to Ransom Everglades High School in Coconut Grove, Florida. Toledo Mud Hens
The Toledo Mud Hens are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Detroit Tigers. They are located in Toledo, Ohio, and play their home games at Fifth Third Field. Triple-A (officially Class AAA) has been the highest level of play in Minor League Baseball in the United States since 1946. Currently, two sports league, leagues operate at the Triple-A level, the International League (IL) and the Pacific Coast League (PCL). Home Runs
In baseball, a home run (abbreviated HR) is scored when the ball is hit in such a way that the batter is able to circle the bases and reach home plate safely in one play without any errors being committed by the defensive team.
