Daniel Coonan
Daniel Coonan is a British actor. Early life Coonan was brought up in Haringey, in north London, moving to Plymouth, Devon in his teens, where he took up acting lessons. He trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art. Career After graduating, Coonan spent over ten years working almost exclusively in theatre, working with companies including The National Theatre, The Royal Court Theatre and Howard Barker's theatre company, The Wrestling School. Coonan then had roles in various television series, including a wrongly convicted murderer in ''Silent Witness'', an investigating policeman in the BBC crime drama ''Mayday'', and a violent alcoholic in Mike Leigh's revival of his classic play '' Ecstasy'', which Leigh directed. In 2013, Coonan joined the cast of the BBC soap opera ''EastEnders'', playing Carl White, having previously played David Priors in 2011. ''The Woman in Black'' is a 1987 stage play, adapted by Stephen Mallatratt. The play is based on the 1983 book of the same name by English author Susan Hill. The play is currently being produced by PW Productions, led by Peter Wilson. It is notable for only having three actors perform the whole play. Abigail Morris (born 1964) is a British arts administrator and the ex-chief executive of the Jewish Museum London. She is the former artistic director and chief executive of Soho Theatre. Almeida Theatre
The Almeida Theatre, opened in 1980, is a 325-seat producing house with an international reputation, which takes its name from the street on which it is located, off Upper Street, in the London Borough of Islington. The theatre produces a diverse range of drama. Successful plays are often transferred to West End theatres. John Newport Caird (born 22 September 1948) is an English stage director and writer of plays, musicals and operas. He is an honorary associate director of the Royal Shakespeare Company, was for many years a regular director with the Royal National Theatre of Great Britain and is the principal guest director of the Royal Dramatic Theatre, Stockholm (Dramaten). Sir Richard Charles Hastings Eyre (born 28 March 1943) is an English film, theatre, television and opera director. Biography Eyre was born in Barnstaple, Devon, England, the son of Richard Galfridus Hastings Giles Eyre and his wife, Minna Mary Jessica Royds.
