Daniel Chick
Daniel Patrick Chick (born 10 February 1976) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn and the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League. Chick is also well known for having a finger amputated in 2002 so he could continue playing football. Hawthorn career Daniel Chick was drafted by Hawthorn from East Fremantle with pick #25 in 1995. Hawthorn received the pick from Adelaide in exchange for Darren Jarman. Chick made his debut for the Hawks in Round 1 1996, in a win over Fitzroy. Chick missed only one game in the 1996 season, quickly establishing himself as a tough and versatile half forward, renowned for his strong tackling. He won the Peter Crimmins Trophy in 2000. The Adelaide Crows (officially the Adelaide Football Club) are a professional Australian rules football team based in Adelaide, South Australia. Founded in 1990. The 1997 AFL season was the 101st season of the Australian Football League (AFL), the highest level senior Australian rules football competition in Australia, which was known as the Victorian Football League until 1989. The season ran from 27 March until 27 September, and comprised a 22-game home-and-away season followed by a finals series featuring the top eight clubs. Before the season, the Port Adelaide Football Club (SANFL) was admitted to the league, increasing the South Australian membership to two clubs. Foundation club Fitzroy, which had gone into administration in 1996, merged with the Brisbane Bears to form a new Queensland-based club known as the Brisbane Lions. Australian rules football in Asia dates back to 1910 but was only sporadically played until the 1980s after which it has boomed. Clubs have begun in most Asian countries and a governing body for the region, AFL Asia was formed in 2008 to coordinate the Asian Championship and promote its affiliated leagues. Adam Hunter (footballer)
Adam Hunter (born 18 June 1981) is an Australian rules footballer who played for the West Coast Eagles in the Australian Football League (AFL). Hunter was born in Bunbury, Western Australia, Bunbury, Western Australia, and played with the South Bunbury Football Club in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) before being recruited to West Coast with the 29th pick overall in the 1999 AFL draft#National Draft, 1999 National draft. Ryan O'Keefe
Ryan O'Keefe (born 24 January 1981) is a former professional Australian rules footballer with the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL), and was part of the Swans' 2005 and 2012 premiership-winning sides. O'Keefe was a member of the 2006 All-Australian side and is one of Sydney's key forwards. He is known for his superb fitness and running ability, as well as his strong marking overhead. The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. In the quadruped stifle joint (analogous to the knee), based on its anatomical position, it is also referred to as the cranial cruciate ligament. The term cruciate translates to cross. Luke Brennan (Australian Footballer)
Luke Brennan (born 3 March 1985) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn and the Sydney Swans in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited to the Hawthorn Football Club with the 8th selection in the 2002 AFL Draft. After just 19 games in four seasons, he struggled at the elite level. He played 10 games in a row during the middle part of the 2005 season. In that year he was also the runner-up in ''The AFL Footy Shows singing competition. Brennan was delisted by Hawthorn at the end of the 2006 AFL season. He was later selected by Sydney in the 2007 AFL rookie draft.
