Daniel Casares (born 1980) is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer. He has recorded six solo albums, such as ''Duende flamenco'' (1999), ''La Madrugá'' (2001), ''Corazón de tu alma'' (2004), ''Caballero'' (2007), ''El Ladrón del Agua'' (2010) and ''Picassares'' (2015). Early life Daniel Casares was born in 1980 in Estepona, Málaga. Career He started his music career by participating in the project ''A la Guitarra de Estepona'', a recording on which he appeared along with other artists. Daniel Casares produced his first solo CD, ''Duende Flamenco'' in 1999, followed by ''La Madruga'' (2001) and ''Corazón de tu alma'' (2004). He released his fourth solo album, ''Caballero'' (2007), which was recorded in Málaga, Spain and has collaborations with Pitingo and El Güito. In 2010, Daniel Casares was the only artist chosen to represent European culture at the media launch gala at Expo 2010, held in Shanghai, China. Miguel Ángel Poveda León (born 13 February 1973) is a Spanish flamenco singer known by his stage name Miguel Poveda. Fernando Soto (born in Madrid, 18 October 1968) is a Spanish actor and director. He graduated from the RESAD School of Drama in 1992. Enrique Morente Cotelo (25 December 1942 – 13 December 2010), known as Enrique Morente, was a flamenco singer (in Spanish, cantaor) and a celebrated figure within the world of contemporary flamenco. Chano Lobato
Chano Lobato (December 1927 in Cadiz – 5 April 2009 in Seville) was a Spanish flamenco singer. Born in the Santa María neighborhood of Cadiz, he began performing at nightclubs in his hometown and later moved to Madrid, where he joined Alejandro Vega's Flamenco dance group. He became well known for performing with Antonio El Bailarín in particular, but also Manuel Morao and El Serna and for various notable dancers, including Matilde Coral. In 1974 Lobato received the Enrique El Mellizo award at the national contest Concurso Nacional de Córdoba and in 1996 he received the Medalla de Andalucía (Medal of Andalusia). José Monje Cruz (5 December 1950 – 2 July 1992), better known by his stage name Camarón de la Isla (), was a Spanish Romani flamenco singer. Omara "Bombino" Moctar (in Tifinagh ⴱⵓⵎⴱⵉⵏⵓ; born 1980) is a Nigerien Tuareg singer-songwriter and guitarist. His music is sung in Tamasheq and often addresses Tuareg geopolitical concerns.
