Daniel Ato Kwamina Mensah
Daniel Ato Kwamina Mensah also popularly known as D. K. Mensah (24 October 1953 – 17 July 2020) was a Ghanaian banker, research economist and former educator. He served as the chief executive officer of the Ghana Association of Bankers for 27 years since 1993. He died on 17 July 2020 at the age of 66 due to short illness. Prior to his death in 2020, he was supposed to retire from the position of CEO of the GBT later in the year. Career Mensah completed his BA Hons degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Ghana; MsC degree in International Trade from the University of Ibadan and MBA degree from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration. Takoradi
Sekondi-Takoradi is a city in Ghana comprising the twin cities of Sekondi and Takoradi. It is the capital of Sekondi – Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly and the Western Region of Ghana. Sekondi-Takoradi is the region's largest city and an industrial and commercial centre, with a population of 445,205 people (2012). The chief industries in Sekondi-Takoradi are timber, cocoa processing, plywood, shipbuilding, its harbour and railway repair, and recently, sweet crude oil and crude oil. The West African Bankers' Association (WABA; french: Association des banques de l'Afrique de l'ouest (ABAO)) is a professional association of banking and financial services and institutions in West Africa. The Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM) was founded in 1911. It has over 30,000 members, including more than 3,000 registered Chartered Marketers.
