Daniel Amartey (born 21 December 1994) is a Ghanaian professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), defender or midfielder for Premier League club Leicester City F.C., Leicester City and the Ghana national football team, Ghana national team. A graduate of International Allies F.C., International Allies' youth academy, Amartey played for Djurgårdens IF Fotboll, Djurgården and F.C. Copenhagen, Copenhagen before joining Leicester City in 2016. The Ghana national football team represents Ghana in men's international football, doing it since 1957. The team consists of twenty players including the technical team. The team is nicknamed the Black Stars after the Black Star of Africa in the flag of Ghana. Helsingborgs IF
Helsingborgs IF (full name Helsingborgs Idrottsförening), commonly referred to as HIF (), is a Swedish professional football club located in Helsingborg. They play in the Swedish first tier, Allsvenskan, following promotion in the 2021 Superettan season via play-offs.
