Dani Sánchez
Daniel Sánchez Gálvez (born 3 March 1974 in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, and best known as Dani Sánchez) is a Spanish people, Spanish professional carom billiards player who plays for FC Porto (billiards), FC Porto a club he has represented for the last 21 years. Career He first reached the finals of the UMB World Three-cushion Championship in 1996, but finished 2nd to Christian Rudolph (billiards player), Christian Rudolph. He successfully took the title in 1998, defeating 17-time World Champion Torbjörn Blomdahl. He won it again in 2005 against Jean Paul de Bruijn, in 2010 against Eddy Leppens and in 2016 against Kim Haeng-jik. Sánchez is a winner of the CEB European Three-cushion Championship twice (1997 and 2000) and is a ''31-time'' Spanish national Champion. He is 15-time Three-cushion Billiard champion of Spain. Three-cushion Billiards
Three-cushion billiards, also called three-cushion carom, is a form of carom billiards. The object of the game is to the off both while contacting the at least three times before contacting the second object ball. A point is scored for each successful carom. In most shots the cue ball hits the object balls one time each, although hitting them any number of times is allowed as long as both are hit. The cue ball may contact the cushions before or after hitting the first object ball. It does not have to contact three different cushions as long as it has been in contact with any cushion at least three times in total. History Three-cushion dates to the 1870s, and while the origin of the game is not entirely known, it evolved from one-cushion billiards, which in turn developed from straight rail billiards for the same reason that balkline also arose from straight rail. Marco Zanetti (born 10 April 1962) is an Italian professional three-cushion billiards player and a two-time world champion from Bolzano, Italy. Privat Zanetti started playing billiards at 7. He needed a chair to play. His father, Erwin Zanetti, was the president of the Carambole Circle of Bolzano. He is regarded as a brilliant billiards player, but also a controversial person who does not hold back with criticism of the world or continental federation and organizers. This brought him in the past, often the wrath of the organizers, as well as its behavior in different tournaments. Dick Jaspers
Dingeman Jacobus Johannes "Dick" Jaspers (pronounced yas-pers) (born 23 July 1965) is a Dutch professional carom billiards player who specializes in the three-cushion event. Early life Jaspers started playing billiards when he was three years old in the pub his parents ran in his home town. Between 1974 and 1980 he participated in the Dutch Youth Championships before making the move to the senior level. In this period he got lessons from Andre Gulickx and Tony Schrauwen Professional career Jaspers became a professional billiard player in 1986 after seeing Raymond Ceulemans and Nobuaki Kobayashi on live television during their World Cup final in Valkenburg. Jaspers won two silver medals in the Dutch Championships 1986. In 1987 and 1989 he won the National Championship, and participated three times at the European Youth Championship.
