Dani Salas
Daniel "Dani" Salas Del Sar (born 23 February 1988) is a Spanish former professional footballer who played as a right back, and a scout at English club Leeds United. Playing career Born in Seville, Salas spent the vast majority of his senior career in his native Andalusia. He appeared in two Segunda División seasons with Sevilla FC's reserves, his first league match occurring on 6 January 2008 in a 2–1 away win against Hércules CF where he started. On the last day of 2008–09, Salas was sent off late into a 3–3 away draw to Alicante CF. Both teams were relegated at the end of the campaign. Subsequently, Salas represented in quick succession CD Alcalá, SD Eibar, CD San Roque de Lepe, Polideportivo Ejido and CD Mairena. 2008–09 Segunda División
The 2008–09 Segunda División season (known from that season as Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 78th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 30 August 2008, and the season ended on 21 June 2009. Real Zaragoza, Real Murcia and Levante were the teams relegated from La Liga the previous season. Alicante, Girona, Huesca and Rayo Vallecano were the teams promoted from Segunda División B the previous season. The first goal of the season was scored by Alexandre Geijo, who scored in the 11th minute for Levante against Real Zaragoza in the early kick-off. The first red card of the season was given to Paco Peña from Real Murcia after a challenge on Sergio Pachón in their opening match against Rayo Vallecano. The ''Yorkshire Evening Post'' is a daily evening publication (delivered to newsagents every morning) published by Yorkshire Post Newspapers in Leeds, West Yorkshire, England. The paper provides a regional slant on the day's news, and traditionally provides close reporting on Leeds United and Leeds Rhinos as well as the Yorkshire County Cricket Club team. The English Football League Championship (often referred to as the Championship for short or the Sky Bet Championship for sponsorship purposes) is the highest division of the English Football League (EFL) and second-highest overall in the English football league system, after the Premier League. The league is contested by 24 clubs.
