Dani Estrada
Daniel 'Dani' Estrada Agirrezabalaga (born 3 January 1987) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays mainly as a right midfielder. He spent the better part of his professional career with Real Sociedad, appearing in 153 competitive matches and spending six seasons in La Liga with the club. Club career A product of Basque Country giants Real Sociedad's youth system, Estrada was born in Zarautz, Gipuzkoa, and he spent his first two senior seasons with the reserves in the Segunda División B. In 2006–07 he finished second in Group II in goalscoring, netting a career-best 13 goals. An own goal, also called a self goal, is where a player performs actions that result in them or their team scoring a goal on themselves, often resulting in a point for the opposing team, such as when a football player kicks a ball into their own net or goal, awarding the other team a point. In some parts of the world, the term has become a metaphor for ''any'' action that backfires on the person or group undertaking it, sometimes even carrying a sense of "poetic justice". The 2010–11 La Liga season (known as the ''Liga BBVA'' for sponsorship reasons) was the 80th since its establishment. The campaign began on 28 August 2010 and ended on 21 May 2011. A total of 20 teams contested the league, 17 of which already contested in the 2009–10 season and three of which were promoted from the Segunda División. In addition, a new match ball – the Nike Total 90 Tracer – served as the official ball for all matches. Martín Bernardo Lasarte Arróspide (born 20 March 1961) is a Uruguayan former footballer who played as a defender, most recently the manager of the Chile national team. The 2009–10 Segunda División season (known as the Liga Adelante for sponsorship reasons) was the 79th since its establishment. The first matches of the season were played on 29 August 2009, and the season ended on 19 June 2010. Real Betis, Numancia and Recreativo de Huelva are the teams which were relegated from La Liga the previous season. The 2006–07 La Liga season, the 76th since its establishment, started on 27 August 2006 and finished on 17 June 2007.
