''Dance Plus'' (tagline: ''Ise Kehte Hain Dance'') is an Indian Hindi-language reality dance competition television series produced by Frames Production house and Urban Brew Studios. The seasons hosted by Raghav Juyal. The series features dance performers, including solo acts, Duo and larger groups, representing any style of dance, competing for a grand prize. Series Overview Judges & captains Season 1 Season 1 of Dance Plus premiered on 3 July 2015. V Company from Team Dharmesh won Season 1, Question Mark Crew from Team Sumeet was first runner up and Hardik Rawat from Team Dharmesh was second runner up. Kumar Priyadarshi is one of the editor of this season of Dance Plus. Teams Season 2 Season 2 of ''Dance Plus'' started on 2 July 2016. The auditions took place across several cities of India from 3 May 2016 to 26 May 2016.Tanay Malhara from Team Dharmesh won the second season. Season 2 of Dance Plus premiered on 2 July 2016 on Star Plus. It was created and produced by Varun Trikha Productions, Urban Brew Studios and Frames Production and aired for 25 episodes. This time there were two talents from Nepal who progressed to the Grand Finale (Wild Ripperz Crew and Sushant Khatri). Mokshda Jailkhani was the first contestant to get the double plus. Wild Ripperz set the record by gaining Double Plus for 8 consecutive time. Auditions were conducted across several cities of India from 3 May 2016 to 26 May 2016. This show was hosted by Raghav Juyal. Winner *Tanay Malhara of team Dharmesh is India's new dance icon. *Wild Ripperz Crew of team Dharmesh are the first runners-up. *Piyush Bhagat of team Shakti is the second runner-up. *Sushant Khatri of team Shakti is the third runner-up. Dance Plus (season 3)
Season 3 of ''Dance Plus'' started on 1 July 2017 on STAR Plus and produced by Urban Brew Studios. Winner was Bir Radha Sherpa, from team Punit. Other three contestants from Top four were from Dharmesh's team, a new record for the finalists. Amardeep Singh Natt became the first runner up, Aryan Patra became the second runner up and Shivani and Tarun were the third runner up. All the finalists won the hearts of public with their entertaining and excellent performances. Overall, Team Dharmesh has two winners from season one and two, Team Punit has one and Shakti Mohan has none. Show is acclaimed and very popular due to creative format and uniqueness. Punit Pathak
Punit Jayesh Pathak (born 1 November 1986), is an Indian dancer, choreographer and actor. In 2019, he participated in Colors TV's '' Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 9'' and emerged as the winner. Personal life Pathak was born on 1 November 1986. Initially, he dreamt of becoming a cricketer or a filmmaker. During his college days, he developed an interest in dancing. His father was against his decision as he wanted Pathak to look after his company, Punit Yarn Agency Private Limited. There were many fights between Pathak and his father. But his younger brother sacrificed his dream of becoming a dancer and took the responsibility of the business. Remo D'souza
Remo D'Souza (born Ramesh Gopi Nair; 2 April 1974), is an Indian choreographer, actor, film director and producer, based in Mumbai. Bir Radha Sherpa is an Indian dancer, who is renowned for winning- Dance Plus (season 3) and Dance Champions. Early life Bir was born on 15 August 1999, in Silchar, Assam. Born in a poor family, Bir always showed a passion for dancing as a child, and performed in many live events in his areas prior to contesting in any notable competition. Career Dance Plus Bir auditioned for Dance Plus (season 3) and was selected into Team Punit- headed by Punit Pathak. He dominated the entire season to enter the final, and eventually went on to win it successfully. This was also the first win for a dancer in Team Punit.
