DanceX
''DanceX'' is a reality television show produced in the UK for BBC One in 2007. It is a live show, in which two teams of male and female dancers compete to form a new dance group. Team Bruno won the show on 25 August. Presenter and team leaders The show was hosted by GMTV and former '' Xtra Factor'' presenter Ben Shephard. The two teams were led by Hot Gossip founder Arlene Phillips and fellow ''Strictly Come Dancing'' judge and choreographer Bruno Tonioli. Both Arlene and Bruno had their own assistants, a choreographer and a vocal coach. Arlene was joined by Ashley Wallen, one of Britain's leading choreographers, and expert vocal coach Joshua Alamu. Bruno's assistants were Derek Hough, dancer and choreographer, and CeCe Sammy, vocal coach. The dance teams' performances were judged by the British public using the ubiquitous telephone vote. Ben Shephard
Benjamin Peter Sherrington Shephard (born 11 December 1974) is an English television presenter and journalist who is currently employed by ITV. He was a main presenter on the now defunct breakfast programme '' GMTV'' and since April 2014 has co-hosted the ITV breakfast show '' Good Morning Britain'' alongside Susanna Reid, Kate Garraway and Charlotte Hawkins. He has also hosted game shows such as '' The Krypton Factor'' (2009–2010), '' Tipping Point'' (2012–present) and ''Ninja Warrior UK'' (2015–2019; 2022–present). In 2012, along with Helen Skelton, he welcomed the athletes of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games to Trafalgar Square as part of their homecoming parade. If I Can't Dance
"If I Can't Dance" is a song by British recording artist Sophie Ellis-Bextor for her third studio album, ''Trip the Light Fantastic'' (2007). It was written by Ellis-Bextor and Dimitri Tikovoi, while production was handled by Tikovi, with additional production by Brio Taliaferro and Jeremy Wheatley. It is a dance-pop, electropop and disco song and a reference to the famous misquotation of Emma Goldman, "If I can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution", which nevertheless summarizes what she did say. The song was scheduled to be released as the fourth single from the album, which was confirmed by the singer herself; however, a full release did not eventuate. The song was also included on the soundtrack to the 2007 film ''St Trinian's'' and received mostly positive reviews from music critics, with many calling it a "delightfully self-aware cut which transport us to a world where the glitter ball never stops spinning." Derek Hough
Derek Bruce Hough (; born May 17, 1985) is an American professional Latin and ballroom dancer, choreographer, actor and singer. From 2007 to 2016, Hough was a professional dancer on the ABC dance competition series ''Dancing with the Stars'', winning the show a record-breaking six times with his celebrity partners. For his work, Hough received eleven nominations for the Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Choreography, winning the award three times. Hough later became a judge on the series beginning with its 29th season. Hough has also appeared as an actor on stage, appearing at the West End premiere of '' Footloose: The Musical'' at the Novello Theatre and as well as the 2015 ''New York Spring Spectacular'' at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.
