Dana Vavřačová (born 25 June 1954 in Jablonec nad Nisou) is a retired Czech race walker. In the 3000 metres walk she finished fourth at the 1985 World Indoor Games The World Indoor Games were arranged by the IAAF and held at the Palais Omnisports Paris-Bercy in Paris, France, from January 18 to January 19, 1985. In 1987 the championship was renamed to the IAAF World Indoor Championships and gained official st ..., the 1987 World Indoor Championships and the 1987 European Indoor Championships. She then won the silver medal at the 1988 European Indoor Championships, finished ninth at the 1989 World Indoor Championships and fourth again at the 1990 European Indoor Championships. Jablonec Nad Nisou
Jablonec nad Nisou (; german: Gablonz an der Neiße) is a city in the Liberec Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 45,000 inhabitants. It is the second-largest city in the region. Eisenhüttenstadt (literally "ironworks city" in German; , dsb, Pśibrjog) is a town in the Oder-Spree district of the state of Brandenburg, Germany, on the border with Poland. East Germany founded the city in 1950. It was known as Stalinstadt (''Stalinměsto'') between 1953 and 1961.
