Dan Power
Dan Power (born 6 January 1983) is an Australian-born American former rugby union player for the United States national rugby union team and current Rugby commentator. Playing career Power was born in Brisbane, Australia. He attended Iona College, Brisbane, graduating in 1999. He was a member of AS Carcassonne in the French Elite 1 League before joining the New York Athletic Clubs (NYAC) Rugby team that plays in the American Rugby Super League (RSL). He finished the 2009 season as the second highest points scorer in the competition and a unanimous choice as the league's best fullback. He debuted for the USA Eagles in 2009 against Argentina, and was in the player pool for the USA Eagles men's rugby team for the 2011 World Cup in New Zealand. Power retired from rugby to attempt to pursue a career in the NFL as punter. Major League Rugby (MLR or USMLR) is a professional rugby union competition and the top-level championship for clubs in North America. In the 2022 season it was contested by thirteen teams: twelve from the United States and one from Canada. Louis Stanfill (born May 30, 1985 in Sacramento, California) is an American former rugby union player who last played for San Diego Legion in Major League Rugby. He previously played for the United States national team. He played at flanker or No. 8, and could also play lock. Youth and college rugby Stanfill began playing rugby in high school at Jesuit High School (Sacramento), where he led his school to a national semifinal appearance. Stanfill also played high school football, and was named Sacramento defensive player of the year in 2002. Stanfill played his college rugby at Cal, where they won several national championships during his years there, and Stanfill was selected as an All-American.
