Dan P. Kelly
Daniel Patrick Kelly (born October 15, 1973) is an American sportscaster. The son of St. Louis Blues broadcaster Dan Kelly, he is also the nephew of hockey and baseball broadcaster Hal Kelly, and the younger brother of current St. Louis Blues TV broadcaster John Kelly. He is the former television play-by-play voice for Chicago Fire in Major League Soccer on ESPN+, announcing on October 25, 2019, that his time with the Fire had ended. Dan is technically not a junior. His given name is Daniel Patrick Kelly, while his father was Patrick Daniel Kelly. Career Kelly graduated from the University of Dayton in 1996 with a degree in Radio Television Communications. In 1997, he returned to his hometown, St. Louis, Missouri to become the radio play-by-play voice for KMOX broadcasts of St. Louis Blues. Central Collegiate Hockey Association
The Central Collegiate Hockey Association (CCHA) is a college athletic conference that participates in the NCAA's Division I as a hockey-only conference. The current CCHA began play in the 2021–22 season; a previous incarnation, which the current CCHA recognizes as part of its history, existed from 1971 to 2013. Half of its members are located in the state of Michigan, with additional members in Minnesota and Ohio. Pat Foley
Pat Foley (born 1954) is an American retired play-by-play commentator for ice hockey. Personal life Born in Glenview, Illinois in 1954, Pat Foley is the son of Mary and Bob Foley. He is an alumnus of Loyola Academy and Michigan State University, with a Bachelor of Science in telecommunications from the latter. Career In 1964, Foley was allowed into the radio booth at Wrigley Field and sat alongside announcers Lou Boudreau and Jack Quinlan. This sparked his interest in play-by-play commentating. After calling baseball and hockey games at Michigan State University, in 1977 he began his career in Grand Rapids, Michigan announcing minor league hockey games. Eddie Olczyk
Edward Walter Olczyk Jr. (; born August 16, 1966) is a former center in the National Hockey League for 16 seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, Toronto Maple Leafs, Winnipeg Jets, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings, and Pittsburgh Penguins. He won the Stanley Cup with the Rangers in 1994. Olczyk was also the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins from June 2003 to December 2005. A color commentator or expert commentator is a sports commentator who assists the main (play-by-play) commentator, typically by filling in when play is not in progress. The phrase "colour commentator" is primarily used in Canadian English and the phrase "color commentator" is now rarely used in American English as the role is now more commonly known in the USA as "game analyst" or "match analyst".
