Dan Foley
Dan Foley (born 25 October 1960) is a former Australian rules footballer who played with Richmond in the Victorian Football League (VFL). Foley, a centre half-forward, started his career at West Perth, the club his father Brian had played for. Brian Foley won the Sandover Medal in 1959. He debuted for Richmond midway through the 1983 VFL season and finished the year with six appearances. A highlight was a five goal haul in Richmond's round 18 win over eventual grand finalists Essendon. During his time at Richmond he struggled with injuries and played only one league game in 1984. In the 1985 pre-season, Foley trained with Melbourne, but returned to Richmond and made five further appearances. After his time at Richmond ended, Foley played again with West Perth. West Perth Football Club
The West Perth Football Club, nicknamed the Falcons, is an Australian rules football club located in Joondalup, Western Australia. West Perth competes in the West Australian Football League (WAFL) and WAFL Women's (WAFLW) and is the oldest existing Australian rules football club in Western Australia. Originally located at Leederville Oval, the team was relocated in 1994 to Arena Joondalup, a sports complex in the northern suburbs of Perth. The Block (season 12)
The twelfth season of Australian reality television series '' The Block'' premiered on 21 August 2016 on the Nine Network. Both hosts Scott Cam (host) and Shelley Craft (Challenge Master) returned from the previous season, as did the three judges: Neale Whitaker, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer. Production On 28 October 2015, Nine renewed the series for a twelfth season. Since 2013, the Nine Network has aired two seasons of the show each year. 1986 WAFL Season
The 1986 WAFL season was the 102nd season of the various incarnations of the West Australian Football League. It was the last season before the introduction of the West Coast Eagles in the VFL which would relegate the WAFL to a second-level league from 1987, and already all WAFL clubs were in severe financial difficulties as attendances were stagnant at best since 1970 and the financial power of wealthy VFL clubs drew most top players away and left below-market transfer fees as WAFL clubs’ inadequate main income source. Best And Fairest
In Australian sport, the best and fairest award recognises the player(s) adjudged to have had the best performance in a game or over a season for a given sporting club or competition. The awards are sometimes dependent on not receiving a suspension for misconduct or breaching the rules during that season. In the Australian Football League (AFL), the Brownlow Medal is awarded to the player who, provided he has not been suspended during the season, receives the most votes from the umpires for being the Fairest and Best player in games during the home and away season. In each game, the umpires award three votes to the player they judge to be the best afield in that game, two votes to the second-best player and one vote to the third-best player. The votes are counted at a gala function on the Monday preceding the Grand Final. The Richmond Football Club, nicknamed the Tigers, is an Australian rules football team playing in the Australian Football League (AFL).
