Dan Coudreaut
Dan Coudreaut (born November 8, 1965) is an American chef. He was the executive chef and vice president of culinary innovation at McDonald's from 2004 to 2018. Biography Coudreaut started his culinary career at the age of 14, washing dishes in a local restaurant in his hometown of Ossining, New York. In 1995, he graduated at the top of his class from the Culinary Institute of America. Culinary career After graduating from the Culinary Institute of America, Coudreaut was hired as executive sous chef at Café Pacific before becoming the club chef at the Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts, both of which are in Dallas, Texas. In 2000, he moved to the field of chain restaurants, joining Metromedia Company's Ponderosa Steakhouse and Bonanza Family Steakhouse chains as director of culinary product development. McDonald's Corporation is an American Multinational corporation, multinational fast food chain store, chain, founded in 1940 as a restaurant operated by Richard and Maurice McDonald, in San Bernardino, California, United States. The McDonald's Premium line is a group of products introduced by McDonald's in the spring of 2003. It includes the company's larger chicken sandwiches, its salad line, and its coffee products. The sandwiches are targeted at various demographic markets, the grilled chicken sandwiches and salads are targeted at both the female and health-conscious demographic markets. The entire line is intended to bring in a larger, more affluent, adult audience seeking better quality products. Snack Wrap
The Snack Wrap is a menu item available at McDonald's in the United Kingdom and Canada. It consists of 100% white meat chicken breast (crispy or grilled), lettuce, shredded cheddar jack cheese, Monterey Jack cheese, and sauce (ranch, honey mustard or salsa roja), wrapped in a soft flour tortilla. It was created to serve as a snack to satisfy hunger between meals. It was officially launched in the United States in 2006, and was initially only available with crispy chicken and ranch sauce. In early 2007, the option to substitute for grilled chicken and/or honey mustard sauce were made available. In some markets, salsa roja or Chipolte BBQ is also available. The Snack Wrap was developed as an attempt to create a new chicken item appealing to drive-through customers.
