Damon Mashore
Damon Wayne Mashore (born October 31, 1969) is a former professional baseball player who played three seasons for the Oakland Athletics and Anaheim Angels of Major League Baseball. He is currently the first base coach for the Los Angeles Angels. Career Mashore was born in Puerto Rico in 1969 where his mother was visiting his father, Clyde, while he was playing in the Liga de Béisbol Profesional de Puerto Rico. He turned down scholarship offers to play both college football and college baseball for the Miami Hurricanes. He played collegiately for the University of Arizona from 1989 to 1991 where he earned Second Team All-America honors from ''Baseball America'' in 1991 and third-team laurels the same season from ''Collegiate Baseball Newspaper''. Los Angeles Angels
The Los Angeles Angels are an American professional baseball team based in the Los Angeles metropolitan area. Prince Semien Fielder (born May 9, 1984) is an American former professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter, who played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Milwaukee Brewers, Detroit Tigers, and Texas Rangers. Justin Clyde Mashore (born February 14, 1972) is an American professional baseball coach and former player who currently serves as the hitting coach for the AAA New Orleans Baby Cakes. Career Mashore was drafted by the Detroit Tigers in the third round of the 1991 Major League Baseball Draft out of Clayton Valley High School in Concord, California. He played in Minor League Baseball until 2001 for numerous different organizations: the Tigers, San Diego Padres, Boston Red Sox, New York Mets and Colorado Rockies. After his playing career he became a coach for numerous minor league teams.
