Damnagoras
Davide "Damna" Moras (born 18 August 1981) is an Italian singer who is the lead vocalist of the Italian folk/power metal band Elvenking and rock n' roll band Hell in the Club. Biography His musical career goes back to 1996, when he started playing in a cover band, while continuing his studies in classical and electric guitar. He then entered Elvenking in 1998. After the recordings of the first demo ''To Oak Woods Bestowed'' in 2001, Elvenking signed with the German label AFM Records and released their first studio album, ''Heathenreel'', which was recorded at New Sin Studios by Luigi Stefanini and mixed at Studio Fredman in Stockholm by producer Fredrik NordstrΓΆm. It featured 11 songs, including "Pagan Purity", "Skywards", "Seasonspeech" and "White Willow". Before and after the release of the album, the band played several gigs and even collaborated with ex- Skyclad singer, Martin Walkyier, sharing the stage while playing some Skyclad tracks together. Elvenking's music draws inspiration from different genres such as metal, folk, hard rock, pop, prog, and classical music. ''Era'' is the seventh studio album released by the Italian folk/power metal band, Elvenking. The album returns more to the band's traditional sound of folk metal and power metal incorporating more folk elements into the songs that were more so lacking from previous albums such as The Scythe and Red Silent Tides. Guest appearances on vocals by Jon Oliva ( Savatage), (Trans-Siberian Orchestra), ( Jon Oliva's Pain) and Netta Dahlberg as well as a guitar solo performed by Teemu Mantysaari of (Wintersun) can be heard on the album. Red Silent Tides
''Red Silent Tides'' is the sixth album by Italian folk/power metal band Elvenking. It was released on September 17, 2010, through AFM Records in both standard and Deluxe Editions. The Deluxe Edition of Red Silent Tides included a second disc which contained their first demo album '' To Oak Woods Bestowed'' as a bonus disc. This album would also feature Raffaello "Rafahel" Indri on guitars alongside Aydan. Also this album would not feature Elyghen on Violins due to his trip out of Italy and was replaced by session player Fabio "Lethien" Polo for the remainder until Elyghen's return. Two singles from the album so far have been released from the album "The Cabal" as the first and "Your Heroes Are Dead" as the second. Reception Eduardo Rivadavia of ''AllMusic'' called it "an extremely well-crafted collection of melodic power metal with prog/folk/gothic benefits." Pordenone (; Venetian and fur, Pordenon) is the main ''comune'' of Pordenone province of northeast Italy in the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
