Damir Mišković
Damir Mišković (born 20 March 1965) is a Croatian businessman and entrepreneur who is the chairman and owner of Croatian football club HNK Rijeka, a position he has held since 2012. Early and personal life Mišković was born in 1965 in Rijeka. His family is originally from the village of Miškovići on the island of Pag which his grandfather had left after the Second World War for Rijeka, where he was employed in the port. Damir's father Šime grew up in old part of Rijeka where he met his mother who worked in a footwear store ''Beograd'' (Serbian capital city, en, Belgrade). His whole family is personally very attached to development and successes of the club. Due to his work obligations Mišković spends his time in Dubai, London, Africa and occasionally Rijeka. HNK Orijent 1919
HNK Orijent is a football club from Sušak, the eastern part of the city of Rijeka, Croatia. The club was established under the name ''Orient'' in 1919. They compete in the Croatian Second Football League. It is a phoenix club of NK Orijent which ceased activities in 2014 due to financial difficulties. The club is resurrected the same year under the new name, HNK Orijent 1919, but in September 2022 club assembly decided to bring back an old name, HNK Orijent. Croatian Football Cup
The Hrvatski nogometni kup ( eng, Croatian football cup), also colloquially known as Rabuzinovo sunce (), is an annually held football tournament for Croatian football clubs and is the second most important competition in Croatian football after the HNL championship. It is governed by the Croatian Football Federation (HNS) and usually runs from late August to late May. Cup winners automatically qualify for next season's UEFA Europa Conference League, except when cup winners are also Prva HNL champions, in which case their berth in the Europa Conference League goes to the best placed team in the Prva HNL who haven't qualified for the UEFA competitions through their league performance. The 2016–17 Croatian First Football League (officially MAXtv Prva liga for sponsorship reasons) was the 26th season of the Croatian First Football League, the national championship for men's association football teams in Croatia, since its establishment in 1992. The fixtures were announced on 15 June 2016. The season started on 15 July 2016 and finished on 27 May 2017. The league was contested by 10 teams. Rijeka won their first ever title, which broke Dinamo Zagreb's dominance of eleven consecutive titles. Stadion Rujevica
Stadion Rujevica (official name: Stadion HNK Rijeka, en, HNK Rijeka Stadium) is a stadium in the city of Rijeka, Croatia. The stadium is commonly referred to as Rujevica after its location. From August 2015, the stadium is a temporary home ground for HNK Rijeka during construction of the new Stadion Kantrida. The stadium is part of the training camp used by the club's youth academy, which includes four additional fields.
