Damien Wilkins
Damien Lamont Wilkins (born January 11, 1980) is an American former professional basketball player and basketball executive who played in the National Basketball Association for ten seasons. He is the General Manager and Head of Basketball at Overtime Elite. He is the son of retired 13-year NBA veteran Gerald Wilkins and nephew of nine-time NBA All-Star, Hall of famer Dominique Wilkins. College career After graduating from Dr. Phillips High School in Orlando, Florida, Wilkins enrolled at North Carolina State University. Two years into a quick and promising start to his NCAA career at North Carolina State, Wilkins entered the 2001 NBA Draft but decided to withdraw and transfer to University of Georgia. Jacques Dominique Wilkins (born January 12, 1960) is an American former professional basketball player who primarily played for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Wilkins was a nine-time NBA All-Star, a seven-time All-NBA Team member and is widely viewed as one of the most acrobatic slam dunkers in NBA history, earning the nickname "the Human Highlight Film". Gerald Bernard Wilkins (born September 11, 1963) is an American former professional basketball player. He is a 6'6" (1.98 m) shooting guard/small forward, who played collegiately at Moberly Area Community College and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga before a career in the NBA. Wilkins is the younger brother of former Atlanta Hawks superstar Dominique Wilkins and father of guard/forward Damien Wilkins and Miss Georgia USA 2012 and Miss USA 2012 4th runner-up Jasmyn Wilkins. Basketball At The 2015 Pan American Games – Men's Tournament
The men's basketball tournament at the 2015 Pan American Games was held in Toronto, Canada at the Ryerson Athletic Centre from July 21 to 25. For these Games, the men competed in an 8-team tournament. The teams were grouped into two pools of four teams each for a round-robin preliminary round. The top two teams in each group will advance to a single elimination bracket. Puerto Rico are the defending champions from the 2011 Pan American Games in Guadalajara, defeating Mexico, 74–72 in the final.
