Damian Boeselager
Damian Hieronymus Johannes Freiherr von Boeselager (born 8 March 1988) is a German business consultant, journalist and Volt Europa politician who has sat in the European Parliament since being elected in 2019. Early life and education Damian Boeselager is descended from the Boeselager family. His grandfather Philipp von Boeselager was a Wehrmacht field officer during Nazism and a member of the 20 July Plot. His father is the banker Georg Freiherr von Boeselager and his mother Huberta, née Thiel. Damian Freiherr von Boeselager is Catholic and the youngest of four children, born in Frankfurt. Boeselager graduated from high school at the Aloisiuskolleg in Bad Godesberg. From 2008 to 2011, he studied Philosophy and Economics at the University of Bayreuth and Public Administration at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin from 2016 to 2017. Volt Europa
Volt Europa (frequently abbreviated as Volt) is a pro-European and European federalist political movement that also serves as the pan-European structure for subsidiary parties in several EU member states. Volt candidates stood on a common, pan-European manifesto in eight member states at the European Parliament elections in May 2019. The organisation follows a "pan-European approach" in many policy fields such as climate change, migration, economic inequality, international conflict, terrorism and the impact of the technological revolution on the labour market. Bad Godesberg ( ksh, Bad Jodesbersch) is a borough ('' Stadtbezirk'') of Bonn, southern North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. From 1949 to 1999, while Bonn was the capital of West Germany, most foreign embassies were in Bad Godesberg. Some buildings are still used as branch offices or consulates. The Committee on Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) is a committee of the European Parliament. Its areas of responsibility relate to industry, especially technology-intensive manufacturing, information technology, and telecommunications.
