Damian Batt
Damian Alexander Nathaniel Batt (born 16 September 1984) is an English footballer who most recently played for Dagenham & Redbridge. Career Batt was born in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire. He started his career in the youth system at Norwich City, even though his signature was sought by many London clubs. He scored Norwich's first goal in the 2-1 FA Youth Cup victory over the previous season's champions Aston Villa in December 2002. He accompanied the first team during the 2003 pre-season tour to the Netherlands and prior to the signing of Marc Edworthy, was acting as second choice right back behind Keith Briggs. In January 2004, it was announced that he would not be offered a new professional deal by the Canaries after 8 years at the club. FA Youth Cup
The Football Association Youth Challenge Cup is an English football competition run by The Football Association for under-18 sides. Only those players between the age of 15 and 18 on 31 August of the current season are eligible to take part. It is dominated by the youth sides of professional teams, mostly from the Premier League, but attracts over 400 entrants from throughout the country. At the end of the Second World War the FA organised a Youth Championship for County Associations considering it the best way to stimulate the game among those youngsters not yet old enough to play senior football. The matches did not attract large crowds but outstanding players were selected for Youth Internationals and thousands were given the chance to play in a national contest for the first time. Shaun Anthony St Patrick Batt (born 22 February 1987) is an English retired footballer who played as a winger or a striker. Career Batt signed for Fisher Athletic on 26 June 2007 from Dagenham & Redbridge. He went on to make 33 appearances in the Conference South during the 2007–08 season. He made his debut for Peterborough United, at home to Tranmere Rovers, in the 2–2 draw in League One on 20 September 2008. Batt joined Millwall on loan in January 2010, until the end of the 2009–10 season. He scored on his debut against Southend United on 26 January, in the 2–0 win for the Lions. Batt signed a permanent three-year contract with Millwall for an undisclosed fee on 15 June 2010. He was unable to play a competitive game for Millwall for 18-months after his transfer as he was plagued by a serious knee injury during a pre-season friendly. The National League South, formerly Conference South, is one of the second divisions of the National League in England, immediately below the top division National League. Vancouver Whitecaps Football Club is a Canadian professional soccer team based in Vancouver. They compete in Major League Soccer (MLS) as a member club of the league's Western Conference.
