Dambae
Dambae ( km, តំបែរ, ) is a district (''srok'') of Tboung Khmum Province, Cambodia. The district capital is Dambae town. This small town is located just off National Road 73 about 11 kilometres from National Highway 7. Dambae is around 45 kilometres west of the provincial capital of Kampong Cham Province, Kampong Cham, and 47 kilometres south of the city of Kratié, the capital of Kratié Province. Dambaer district is home to the Haung resort and waterfall, a picnic and holiday spot. The falls are located in Srae Veng Village, Teuk Chrov Commune near the border with Memot district and about 90 kilometres from the provincial capital. Haung is set in mountain scenery including 1,800 hectares of natural forest. The waterfalls have worn out a 1,425 square metre stone crater below the cascade. Krouch Chhmar
Krouch Chhmar District ( km, ស្រុកក្រូចឆ្មារ) is a district (''srok'') located in Tboung Khmum Province, Cambodia. The district capital is Krouch Chhmar town located around 35 kilometres north east of the provincial capital of Kampong Cham by water. The Mekong River forms western and northern borders of the districts and includes the Mekong island of Koh Pir in its area. Not surprisingly, communities in this isolated district are mostly clustered along the banks of the river and boats are an important form of transport. The district is easily accessed by boat from neighboring Kampong Cham Province. Road access however, is more problematic. The district can only be accessed by vehicles via Chhloung town, Chhloung District in Kratie Province. Tboung Khmum Province
Tboung Khmum ( km, ត្បូងឃ្មុំ ; meaning "Amber"), also spelled as Tbong Khmum, is a province of Cambodia located on the central lowlands of the Mekong River. It borders the provinces of Kampong Cham to the west, Kratié to the north, Prey Veng to the south and shares an international border with Vietnam to the east. Its capital and largest city is Suong. The province's name consists of two words in Khmer, ''tboung'' (gem, precious jewel) and ''khmum'' (bee), which together mean "amber". Tboung Khmum Province was formed when Kampong Cham Province was split in two by a royal decree signed on 31 December 2013 by King Norodom Sihamoni on the recommendation of Prime Minister Hun Sen. Memot District ( km, ស្រុកមេមត់) is a district (''srok'') in Tboung Khmum Province, Cambodia. The district capital is Memot town, around east of the provincial capital of Kampong Cham by road. Memot is a border district and the city of Tây Ninh in Vietnam is away by road. The district is easily accessed by road from Kampong Cham or Kratié. Though there are numerous smaller roads within the district that cross the border into Vietnam, there is no official international border crossing within the district. The closest official crossing is southeast of the district capital at Trapeang Phlong in Ponhea Kraek District. The district capital is Ponhea Kraek town located around 48 kilometres east of the provincial capital of Kampong Cham by road.
