Dallas (1978 TV Series, Season 1)
The television show ''Dallas'' originally aired as a five-episode miniseries starting on the first Sunday of April 1978. These five episodes were originally intended to be the show's pilot but by the time they aired, it was thought that no further episodes would be made. However, the popularity of the miniseries led to the creation of an additional thirteen full seasons, ending after the fourteenth. Production The original miniseries was shot over six weeks during the winter of 1977, on location in Dallas, Texas. The Cloyce Box Ranch served as the first 'South Fork Ranch' exterior, and a Swiss Avenue building was used for the interior stage sets. Charlene Tilton
Charlene L. Tilton (born December 1, 1958) is an American actress and singer. She is widely known for playing Lucy Ewing, the niece of brothers J. R. Ewing and Bobby Ewing (played by Larry Hagman and Patrick Duffy), on the television series ''Dallas''. Paul Sorensen
Paul Sorensen (February 16, 1926 – July 17, 2008) was an American film, theater and television actor who appeared in hundreds of roles during his career, including ''The Brady Bunch'' and ''Dallas''. He was frequently cast in westerns or as a police officer. Early years Sorenson was born in Kenosha, Wisconsin. He moved to Hollywood, California, in 1945 and enrolled in the Pasadena Playhouse, from which he graduated two years later. Sorenson served 15 months with the U.S. Army's 25th Division during the Korean War. Career Sorensen returned to California after the war and resumed acting.
