Dalian Quanjian F.C.
Dalian W.F.C. () was a professional Chinese football club in Dalian, Liaoning. History The team was founded in 1984 as Dalian Women's Football Team, and participated in National Games of China, representing Liaoning province. In 1994, Dalian Women's Football Team won the Chinese Women's Football League championship for the first time. However, the team encountered some difficulties, and suffered for a few years. In 2002, Dalian Shide Corp. purchased the team and officially named it as Dalian Shide Women's F.C. In 2013 when Dalian Shide F.C. broke down and was purchased by Dalian Aerbin, the women's team also changed its name to Dalian Aerbin W.F.C. However, they faced financial problems shortly after winning a championship in 2013. Quanjian Group took possession of the team in 2015 and renamed it as Dalian Quanjian F.C. Dalian Sports Centre Stadium
Dalian Sports Centre Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Dalian, Liaoning province, China. The stadium has a maximum capacity of 61,000. The stadium was built for the 2013 National Games of China, and switched to other purposes, mainly football, afterwards. Between 2014 and 2020, Dalian Professional F.C. were the tenants. Design The Dalian Sports Centre Stadium consists of major stadium, arena, tennis pitch, baseball pitch, and swimming stadium. The baseball pitch was re-fitted to football training pitch after the National Games. In 2020, Dalian Sports Centre started its renovation project, in order to meet the requirements for the 2021 FIFA Club World Cup. The stadium would be refitted to professional football pitch with the running track removed, but the project was halted later as China quit hosting the Club World Cup. Dalian () is a major sub-provincial port city in Liaoning province, People's Republic of China, and is Liaoning's second largest city (after the provincial capital Shenyang) and the third-most populous city of Northeast China. The Chinese Women's Super League (CWSL) is the top level women's football league in China. It was called the Chinese Women's National Football League from 2011 to 2014. History The league started in 1997 as the Chinese Women's Premier Football League. The name Women's Super League was first adopted in 2004. During the 2011 to 2014 seasons, the league was renamed to Women's National Football League and discontinued the practice of promotion and relegation due to a lack of available teams and playing talent. In 2015, the Chinese Football Association relaunched the league, again as the Women's Super League and with an affiliated second division, CWFL. It also gained a title sponsor, LeTV Holdings Co Ltd. The league signed a five-year deal with Spanish apparel company Kelme to provide uniforms.
