Dalano Banton
Dalano Banton (born November 7, 1999) is a Canadian professional basketball player for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the Western Kentucky Hilltoppers basketball, Western Kentucky Hilltoppers and the Nebraska Cornhuskers men's basketball, Nebraska Cornhuskers. Banton's selection with the 46th overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft by the Toronto Raptors made him the first Canadian player to be drafted by the Canadian franchise. Early life and high school career Banton grew up in the Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown, Mount Olive area in the Rexdale neighbourhood of Toronto. The Toronto Raptors are a Canadian professional basketball team based in Toronto. The Raptors compete in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the league's Eastern Conference Atlantic Division. They play their home games at Scotiabank Arena, which they share with the Toronto Maple Leafs of the National Hockey League (NHL). The Kansas State Wildcats men's basketball team represents Kansas State University in college basketball competition. The ''Daily News'' is a daily-except-Saturday newspaper based in Bowling Green, Kentucky. It is published Sunday mornings and Monday through Friday evenings. Reclassification (education)
In education in the United States, reclassification or reclassing is the assignment of a student's high school (secondary school) graduation class to either a year earlier or later than their original. For young athletes, graduating a year earlier frees them to start their college sports career, with the hope of playing professionally sooner. On the other hand, an athlete repeating a grade and delaying graduation is allowed an extra year to mature. In most cases, a student who reclassified to graduate earlier also previously repeated a grade. Graduating later Athletes may reclassify to a later year, repeating a grade in high school or middle school to gain an extra year to grow taller and stronger while developing academically and athletically. DeMar Darnell DeRozan (born August 7, 1989) is an American professional basketball player for the Chicago Bulls of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He played college basketball for the USC Trojans and was selected ninth overall by the Toronto Raptors in the 2009 NBA draft. He is a five-time NBA All-Star and a three-time All-NBA Team member.
