''Bellis perennis'' (), the daisy, is a European species of the family Asteraceae, often considered the archetypal species of the name daisy. To distinguish this species from other plants known as daisies, it is sometimes qualified as common daisy, lawn daisy or English daisy. Description ''Bellis perennis'' is a perennial herbaceous plant growing to in height. It has short creeping rhizomes and rosettes of small rounded or spoon-shaped leaves that are from long and grow flat to the ground. The species habitually colonises lawns, and is difficult to eradicate by mowing, hence the term 'lawn daisy'. It blooms from March to September and exhibits the phenomenon of heliotropism, in which the flowers follow the position of the sun in the sky. The flowerheads are composite, about in diameter, in the form of a pseudanthium, consisting of many sessile flowers with white ray florets (often tipped red) and yellow disc florets. ''Globularia'' is a genus of about 22 species of flowering plants in the family Plantaginaceae, native to central and southern Europe, Macaronesia, northwest Africa and southwest Asia. They are dense low evergreen mat-forming perennials or subshrubs, with leathery oval leaves 1–10 cm long. The flowers are produced in dense inflorescences ( capitula) held above the plant on a 1–30 cm tall stem; the capitula is 1–3 cm in diameter, with numerous tightly packed purple, violet, pink or white flowers. ''Globularia'' species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including '' Coleophora virgatella''. Several members of the genus, such as ''Globularia cordifolia'' and '' Globularia punctata'', are cultivated and sold for garden use. ''Halfway to Hazard'' is the self-titled debut studio album by American country music duo Halfway to Hazard. It was released through a joint venture of Mercury Nashville Records and StyleSonic Records on August 14, 2007. The tracks "Daisy" and "Devil and the Cross" were both released as singles. The album was produced by singer Tim McGraw, owner of the StyleSonic label, and Byron Gallimore, who has co-produced all of McGraw's albums. The song 8."Country 'Til the Day I Die" was featured in NASCAR 08.
