Daisy Edgar-Jones
Daisy Jessica Edgar-Jones (born 24 May 1998) is a British actress. She began her career with the television series '' Cold Feet'' (2016–2020) and ''War of the Worlds'' (2019–2021). Edgar-Jones gained wider recognition for her starring role in the miniseries ''Normal People'' (2020), which earned her nominations for a British Academy Television Award and a Golden Globe Award. In 2022, she starred in the comedy-thriller film ''Fresh'', the mystery film ''Where the Crawdads Sing'', and the crime miniseries ''Under the Banner of Heaven'' for which she received another Golden Globe nomination. The South Bank Sky Arts Awards (originally The South Bank Show Awards) are an accolade recognizing British achievements in the arts. The awards have been given annually since 1997. They originated with the long-running British arts programme ''The South Bank Show'' and Melvyn Bragg, who has served as patron, host and master of ceremonies of the awards since their inception. The last South Bank Show Awards ceremony to be broadcast by ITV (TV network), ITV was in January 2010 and was held at The Dorchester hotel in London. After the network had announced that ''The South Bank Show'' would be cancelled at the end of the 2009 season, the awards ceremony continued to be broadcast by Sky Arts and was eventually renamed the South Bank Sky Arts Awards. ''Silent Witness'' is a British crime drama television series produced by the BBC, which focuses on a team of forensic pathology experts and their investigations into various crimes. The Mount, Mill Hill International is a coeducational independent day and boarding school located in Mill Hill, North London and forms part of the Mill Hill School Foundation, close to the main Mill Hill School site. Boarding houses are shared with Mill Hill pupils, and the international pupils have full use of the Senior School’s facilities.
