Daiki Sugioka
is a Japanese footballer who plays as a left back for Shonan Bellmare and the Japan national team. Club career Shonan Bellmare Sugioka joined Shonan Bellmare in 2017 straight from Funabashi Municipal High School, aged 17 and took the number 29 shirt. He was immediately involved in the first XI and was handed his J2 League debut by Cho Kwi-jae on 26 February 2017, a 1-0 win over Mito Hollyhock where Sugioka played the full 90 minutes. In his first home game, Sugioka scored his first professional goal in a 3-1 win over Thespakusatsu Gunma, after running past a number of defenders and scoring with a fine left-footed finish. is a Japanese professional football (soccer) club, currently playing in the J2 League. The team's hometown is located in Mito, Ibaraki Prefecture. Its nickname "HollyHock" derives from the family crest of the Tokugawa clan who governed from Mito in the Edo period. 2020 AFC U-23 Championship
The 2020 AFC U-23 Championship was the fourth edition of the AFC U-23 Championship, the biennial international age-restricted football championship organised by the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) for the men's under-23 national teams of Asia. A total of 16 teams competed in the tournament. It took place between 8–26 January 2020 in Thailand. The tournament acted as the AFC qualifiers for the 2020 Summer Olympics men's football tournament. The top three teams of the tournament would qualify for the Olympics in Japan as the AFC representatives. Football at the 2018 Asian Games was held from 14 August to 1 September 2018 in Indonesia. One of the host cities, Palembang, hosted the women's event, while the men's matches are played in Bekasi, Cibinong, Cikarang, and Soreang. The Games' main stadium, the Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Jakarta did not host the football events. The stadium hosted the ceremonies and the athletics.
