Daiane Menezes Rodrigues (born 22 July 1986) is a Brazilian professional footballer who plays as a defender for Ferroviária and the Brazil women's national team. Club career Rodrigues joined Ferroviária for a third spell in 2013 and was appointed captain of the team. She led the "Guerreiras Grenás" to the 2014 Copa do Brasil de Futebol Feminino and 2015 Copa Libertadores Femenina titles. In January 2018, Rodrigues was announced as the second ever signing for S.L. Benfica's newly formed women's football team, following her compatriot Dani Neuhaus. International career As an unattached player at club level Rodrigues was part of the Brazil under-20 selection at the FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup in 2006. The Supertaça de Portugal Feminina ( en, Portuguese Women's Super Cup) is an annual Portuguese football match played since 2015 between the winners of the Portuguese league, Campeonato Nacional Feminino, and the holders of the Portuguese Cup, Taça de Portugal Feminina. If the champions also win the Cup (i.e. achieve the double, Portuguese: ''dobradinha''), they play against the Cup runners-up. The Campeonato Nacional II Divisão de Futebol Feminino () is the second-highest division of the Portuguese women's football league system, after the Campeonato Nacional de Futebol Feminino. It is run by the Portuguese Football Federation and began in 2008. The current champions are Benfica, who won their first title in 2019. Competition As of 2017–18 there were 56 clubs in the Campeonato Promoção. During the first phase, clubs are divided into seven regionalised groups (Séries A–F and a four-club Série Madeira). The second phase comprises two groups of four teams (Série Norte and Série Sul). Each club plays the others twice (a double round-robin system), once at their home stadium and once at that of their opponents', for six games. In sport, a cap is a player's appearance in a game at international level. The term dates from the practice in the United Kingdom of awarding a cap to every player in an international match of rugby football and association football. In the early days of football, the concept of each team wearing a set of matching shirts had not been universally adopted, so each side would distinguish itself from the other by wearing a specific sort of cap. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. An exhibition game (also known as a friendly, a scrimmage, a demonstration, a preseason game, a warmup match, or a preparation match, depending at least in part on the sport) is a sporting event whose prize money and impact on the player's or the team's rankings is either zero or otherwise greatly reduced. Vadão
Oswaldo Fumeiro Alvarez (21 August 1956 – 25 May 2020), more commonly known as Vadão, was a Brazilian football manager. Although he managed several Brazilian men's teams over the course of his managerial career, he was best known for being the head coach of the Brazil women's national football team on two occasions, from 2014 to 2016, and from 2017 to 2019.
